Do not overlook the fact the same people dead set on disarming you spent the last 3 1/2 years stridently lying to you about the open southern border until they couldn't lie about it any more.

They let millions of military aged males in here who did not bring families with them.

To take total control of a country via martial law you must first adequately destabilize it and create such a dangerous situation that citizens will eagerly surrender their rights for safety from the ravaging invaders.

When/if attacks come from the foreign invaders who were allowed in here en masse, martial law will be declared in many states and they'll attempt to seize all the guns and lock everyone down again.
