I've seen many major crypto outlets cover the SecondFi situation.
But I've barely seen news talking about Cardano's Leios going live on testnet.
Bad news always spreads faster, that's just how it goes.
Don't let the negativity make a toll on you, we as the Cardano community should focus on the positive stuff.
Because LEIOS TESTNET IS FINALLY HERE 🗣️🗣️
The first version, Linear Leios, is targeting up to ~1000 TPS, with mainnet aimed for the end of this year.

Everything with Surf V2 is going well
Right now we’re just tweaking and testing to make sure everything is perfect
But the protocol is a beast
We should have an updated ETA later this week
But we shouldn’t be too far… 🏝️

Do people seriously think $ADA is going to die?
We’re talking about a blockchain that has been running for years without the major outages we’ve seen elsewhere, without a successful protocol-level hack, and with some of the strongest technology in the industry. Yet every time the price disappoints someone, the same narratives start all over again.
What I find interesting is how quickly people look for someone to blame. And no, I’m not talking about Charles.
For years, the community demanded more decentralization, more transparency, and less centralized control. Now that governance is here and the Treasury is increasingly being managed by the community, some people suddenly seem uncomfortable with the idea.
Do you realize what’s happening?
For the first time in Cardano’s history, the community has a real say in how ecosystem funds are allocated. Decisions are no longer concentrated in the hands of a few individuals or organizations.
Maybe that’s the real issue.
Some people became accustomed to Treasury funds flowing in a certain direction. Now they have to convince the community that they deserve that funding. Having a large following or the loudest voice on social media isn’t enough anymore.
Perhaps that’s why we’re seeing so much frustration lately.
At the end of the day, Cardano’s future won’t be decided by influencers, X Spaces, or whoever gets the most engagement online.
It will be decided by the people who actually participate.
Because if there’s one thing that’s changing, it’s this:
The power is no longer concentrated in the hands of a few.
