Brother, now there is no question about whether there will be any reduction in shares, because #vodafoneidea has already concluded the AGR issue and recognized a one-time gain of Rs.57,491 crore, which includes all the benefits (Cash benefits+Time value benefits).
My view is different :-
➤ As disclosed in the financial statements of Vodafone Idea Limited as of 30 September 2021, the outstanding AGR liability stood at Rs.63,400 crore.
➤ As of 31 Dec 2025, Post reassessment, the DOT communicated to VI that the AGR amount is Rs.64,046 crore.
➤ The differential amount of Rs.646 crore will be paid by the company over the next 4 years in installments, as explained in the financial notes.
My question is this: during the last 4.3 years (including the 4 year moratorium period), the company recognised AGR interest expenses every quarter and considered the same while calculating cash flows under Finance Cost.
If we apply a simple interest calculation at 8% p.a. on Rs.63,400 crore, the quarterly interest works out to approximately Rs.1,268 crore.
Rs.1,268 crore × 13 quarters = nearly Rs.16,484 crore of interest has effectively been reversed by now.
My question is :- Where has Vodafone Idea actually utilised this de-recognised AGR interest (Rs.16,484 crore).
Accordingly, in the case of Spectrum dues, Vodafone Idea converted Rs.36,950 crore due amount into equity as of 31 March 2025. The corresponding liability amount has also been de-recognised.
My question is :- Where has this de-recognised amount actually gone?
