This is so well said. 😂
Maybe Sony doesn't realize that:
1. Most of us have a backlog bigger than our life expectancy
2. The jump from PS5 to PS6 is going to feel a lot smaller than previous generations (law of diminishing returns at this point)
3. If they want us to stay engaged, maybe... I don't know... give us games? Good games that don't take 7+ years to make. And maybe bring back some of the creativity and variety that made the PS1–PS3 eras so special.
Sony needs us more than we need them.
They created so much value over the last 30 years that plenty of us have enough incredible games to play for decades. If the future is "$1,000+ digital-only console, fewer games, longer waits, and less ownership," that's not exactly a compelling value proposition.
GG, Sony. Thanks for the memories. 🤣

🚨 Facial recognition surveillance is expanding rapidly across the UK.
Police are rolling it out on our streets and making up the rules as they go
Today we've written to the @ukhomeoffice demanding any future laws rein it in and protect our privacy.
🚨 THIS ISN’T ABOUT “PROTECTING KIDS.”
IT’S ABOUT FORCING A DIGITAL ID ON EVERYONE — AND KILLING YOUR PRIVACY FOR GOOD.
Keir Starmer’s “Australian-plus” crackdown sounds innocent: age verification, intimate-image blockers, feature bans and VPN restrictions for under-16s.
But here’s the truth they won’t say out loud...
To enforce this, EVERY USER — kid or adult — will have to prove who they are online. Facial scans. Government ID uploads. Biometric checks. A permanent digital trail tied to your real identity.
This is online digital ID by stealth.
And the UK is just the start. This is coming to every country, including the USA.
If you’re done being treated like a suspect in your own country…
If you refuse to hand over your privacy so a failing government can control what you see and say…
Follow me.
I expose the surveillance state they’re rushing through while everyone’s distracted by the “think of the children” script. Raw truth. No filters. No surrender.
Our fight for freedom starts online.
Don’t let them flip the switch.

Wake up.🔥
"Anger" at what, exactly? The truth?
Empowering parents with the tools to monitor and control their children's screen time is far more effective than an unworkable blanket ban.
Some MPs may be desperate for an "easy fix", but we must stop outsourcing parenting to the state.
The Digital Safety Act is set to be introduced today in the House of Commons.
And as I predicted months ago, the bill is rumored to contain social media bans for teenagers and kids under the age of 16.
I had also predicted that the new Bill C-63 would be called something along the lines of the Online Safety Act … I was pretty damn close…
To enforce Bill C-9, C-22 and C-8, our government needs a digital ID and a social media ban is exactly how it will be implemented.
This isn’t about protecting our children — It’s about control, surveillance and censorship…
Don’t be fooled, all these bills are interconnected and this is the last piece of the puzzle.
Signal brings up such an important point here, that once the govt can know the identity of those using the Internet, it is *trivial* to restrict *or monitor* any subset of its population, on any topic or use, by expanding the law
If you are Queer this is insanely dangerous (1/2)
The solution here is to implement child-only phones. Phones with more limited abilities/access to the internet.
But no. It's not about protecting children it's about surveillance.
🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer threatens mandatory ID checks to use mobile phones
"Protecting children online is vital, but these are outrageous plans that will fail to address the underlying causes of online harm. This will only result in population-wide ID checks for all of us to use our phones, tablets and laptops.
"Put simply, the Labour Government is threatening ID checks for the internet. No one in a democracy should need to show their passport just to get online.
"These plans would replace efforts for meaningful tech and parental responsibility with performative, authoritarian government control that children can easily circumvent by accessing adult-registered devices. However, for the UK's 50 million adults using the internet, this backdoor digital ID requirement would invoke the death of anonymity and internet privacy.
"The Government's plan very likely means that unless you submit to intrusive identity checks when setting up your phone or computer, there will be a chokehold on your software and internet access leaving you with a child-locked device. Planned restrictions on messaging, streaming and browsing raise the potential of spyware in our pockets that will be exploited for other purposes before long.
"The Government mandating that all phones in Britain require ID and surveillance software is a crossing of the Rubicon that would make the UK one of the most authoritarian internet regimes in the world. This extreme technological censorship requires rigorous public and parliamentary scrutiny that is currently totally missing" - Silkie Carlo | @silkiecarlo
The tech companies rebranded "age verification" to "age assurance" because THEY KNOW the original name was toxic & how unpopular it is.
You should NEVER be asked to hand over your ID online or have your face biometrically harvested.
Keep pushing. Keep refusing. We can win this.
❗️🚨 An Israeli company has backdoored hundreds of millions of households through countless Smart TV apps, and they're quietly turning Samsung and LG TVs into exit nodes for AI web-scraping. Your TV is relaying strangers' web traffic from your home IP, your bandwidth, your address attached to whatever those scraping jobs touch.
Roku, Fire TV and Google TV banned the practice. Samsung and LG didn't. The culprit is Bright Data's proxy SDK, which rides inside Tizen and webOS apps, 200+ on webOS alone. Datacenter IPs get blocked, home IPs don't.
Include Security reverse-engineered the SDK and found its relay protocol has no message signing, authentication, or device attestation. Their words: less secure than typical malware command-and-control.
To make things worse, they found that in iOS the relay tunnel binds straight to the physical network interface, so it routes around any VPN the user is running.
Bright Data's config also ships per-country tiers. Devices in Uzbekistan and Oman are cleared to relay down to 1% battery, with data caps up to 60x the worldwide default.
Before the BaCkDoOrEd replies land: technically you agreed. In practice you were enrolled into a global proxy network you were never given the information to refuse. And these exit nodes drag down your IP's reputation, potentially leaving you with blocks from providers.
I have decided to drop out of the AI program at Amazon. I will not be making a Punky Duck series. Actions speak louder than words.
My intent was to showcase artists, both new and seasoned, both inside and outside the studios, driving this new tech.
My sincerest apology to those I upset. I promise to do better moving forward. Thank you for your patience with me. I will try harder.
I need more money for my medical expenses plus my dogs meds so I'd really appreciate the support, ty
