So, I've been teasing it for a few days, and it's time to talk about my history with Charles Hoskinson.
In 2019, Breaker was invited to interview Charles as part of a media tour. Breaker has been gone from the web for many years, so I'm republishing the fairly infamous resulting piece via Substack. (Link in reply)
The interview came in the wake of the infamous "Do you know who I am" tweet: I asked him about it, and wrote in the piece about questions regarding his character and behavior. I also wrote about his huge, eerily silent entourage, and engaged in some self-examination about the reality of online vs real-life behavior.
This resulted in him recording a ten-minute video claiming that I had deceived him about the premise of the interview - despite the fact that *his team reached out to us* and placed no conditions on the topics under discussion.
It seemingly had simply never occured to Charles that anyone would write anything critical of him.
His takeaway?
“I would highly recommend that anybody in the cryptocurrency space avoid David Morris, avoid Breaker Magazine because they’re just not honest actors.”
This, it's even more clear six years later, was pure projection. His fragility and victim complex have become even more clear than they were in 2019. And the past few days have shown just what a bargain-basement community of losers have been attracted to that personality.
I'm swimming. Chuck is drowning.

First time at a @UKCCSRC conference, the broad range of fields and topics presented was definitely outside my usual understanding and helpful towards understanding different parts of the problem!

@wmtoken@MrTelecoms Will there be any updates for https://t.co/7uhBxZFFTt ?
Wish there was more charts for things like node count over time or data consumption over time.
You have probably heard about @TornadoCash right?
A smart contract used in ETH to send funds to users without sending to them directly.
I asked myself how that could work in Cardano and created TornADA 🌪

@APompliano A water bottle with 2+ litre capacity and made of steel. It never leaves my side, and it keeps me hydrated. No water no life. Let's go hydrobros 👊
@InsightsCardano@_KtorZ_ Interesting, thank you for the replies!
So the base layer will only scale with acceptable block size increases? And this is mainly determined by the propagayion/validation time of a block? And if so, what is the upper bound limit for the block size?
@info_cardano @InsightsCardano Seems like a rather big difference in size to catch up on. And even if it does it won't be any smaller than roughly that value will it? What's the minimum/simplest transaction size on cardano again?
@InsightsCardano Would you or someone else k ow what the average transaction or smart contract size is?
Also when vasil update hits, how much is this expected to decrease (relative to current size of the average smart contract)?
