World Cup summary: highest average goals since 1970 is actually amazing, just below 3 goals a game. Big players mostly showed up and delivered, Messi, Mbappe, Haaland, Kane & Bellingham, Cape Verde in particular had a great story.

We have seen two different versions of Messi at the #FIFAWorldCup

One that shows up in the first half, gets a feel of the game & the other shows up in the second half.

One who scores goals as the striker and the other who creates as the Right Winger.

One who is a force of nature when playing in a neutral or trailing gamestate while the other who continues to perform when winning.

Even at 39, there's Messi and then there's other.
