Playing zone in AAU/Club is chasing wins. An adult ego thing. Club teams don't practice enough to be as effective against zones, especially multiple zones.

Parents, if your child is in a club doing this, run. It's not about development no matter how many times they say it is.

Mn Fury 2025 Premier went 2-2 at the Summer Jam this past wkend. The girls continue to battle as they enter summer in full swing of AAU and HS basketball. Plenty of opportunities for continued development. Wanna be playing our best 🏀 as we finish off June n into July.

After a 2 Pt loss in the semi finals Saturday the girls came ready to play yesterday to take 3rd place at the Summer Jam. When your team can guard n rebound their position you’re gonna be in the game. When they can make clutch FT’s at the end, that helps too. CONGRATS LADIES!!!

Mn Fury 2027 Gold finishes 2nd in Ball Til You Fall tourney in Eau Claire. Only 7 players available on the college Crt the girls battled in back 2 back games before losing to So-Mn Fury 27’s in championship. The girls embracing all opportunities for their continued development.

Mn Fury 2025 Premier traveled to Dallas this past wkend to play in session 1 of S 40 Select. Went 2-3 vs long, skilled, athletic competition. Girls had fun together n embraced the opportunity playing with the shot clock.Every game shd be a challenge, it’s not suppose to be easy.

Mn Fury 2027 Gold played up in 2025 Black bracket and wins the Midwest Kickoff Championship this wkend. The girls matched the intense physicality of the games, knocked down some timely shots n got the stops when they needed them. CONGRATS LADIES!!

@PhilMackey Wait, he’s had worse games??? I beg to differ, not in a monumental game like this. He played afraid, constantly settling for long jump shots, this was a disaster of a game on the big stage, in front of a national TV audience. He’s got to show up Friday or it’s a long off season,

@JonKrawczynski It was their defense that let them down, too many open looks in the 4th Qtr for Dallas. Ya knew eventually they wd knock down 3’s. Didn’t need to keep blitzing ball screens, make an adjustment. Wolves offense with zero ball movement last 5 minutes, turned into Me-fence.
