About the creases, the source of the infrared light is the camera, if another light source is introduced,it changes the shadows & highlights of the creases creating an illusion of motion.

I monitor my offices CCTVs, when the lights are off, the cameras automatically switch to infrared which is what we are first seeing. When light is turned back on, that's when accurate colors are captured.
