Once again, I warmly salute and thank all my dear friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for your continued support and encouragement. I look forward to meeting you on 14th August at the launch of my book, From Humble Beginnings.
This book is a reflection on my journey, from a classroom teacher to a headteacher, and from a civil servant to the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).
Along this path, I have learned that leadership is not defined by titles, but by service, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people one leads.
I have also come to appreciate that while a title may open doors, it is one's actions, character, and dedication that earn lasting respect.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you and celebrating this special milestone together.

Welcoming #AU Member States and partners to the validation of the Common Africa Position on Ending #ViolenceAgainstChildren and the AU Model Law on #OnlineChildSafety, which provide a strong foundation and reflect Africa's continued commitment to accelerating progress for children across the continent.
"Africa is home to the world's youngest population.
Children must not be seen as a problem to resolve, but as a huge capital to invest in.
Investing in children from an early age and through a life-cycle approach, in line with Agendas 2030 and 2063, is vital for resilient and sustainable social, human and economic development, and will provide a high return."
- Dr. Najat Maalla M’jid

@FrankGashumba, @ReachDrMuganga doesn't need to demonstrate his #Ugandan "ness" like this. The appointing authority knows him. There have been times when @Parliament_Ug has rejected a nominee & the HE has renominated. Just renounce the other citizenships, it doesn't matter which
@AndrewMwenda@KagutaMuseveni It is good that you apologized to HE. Indeed, a shift toward substance, recognising that in a low-income econ like UG—where GDP per capita is low, the workforce remains in subsistence & private sector credit is around 13% of GDP—the state must help bridge the risk-capital gap.
@cobbo3 Pole Charles! I know it is hard for me to argue at this point along the reason of "....it's for your own safety...." I agree, perhaps the ID return process could be managed better, but without that stringent checks, it can be fetal.
Thousands of little feet ran today for a big cause at UNICEF's Children's Race: birth registration.
Every child counted. Every child protected.
Because birth registration is the first step toward a lifetime of rights.

Good job, giving young people a platform to express their aspirations and show case their #Leadership talents. Shouts out to all the youth leaders who have participated today.

This is great that a bi partisan bill is signed into law by the president. Online abuse and exploitation especially, of children should end https://t.co/nL9OQA6Bl6
On March 18, we celebrated #socialworkers but until you meet social workers like Hiluf Fitsum below, it is impossible to put into perspective the #criticality of social work.
This Social Work Month, we celebrate social workers like Hiluf Fitsum, who work tirelessly to ensure #children are safe, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive.
