@fizzyells Idk if there’s a name for it but my brain absolutely does it too. Anything like alarms - repetitive, regular sounds is the worst. My brain keeps trying to pick up the beat.
Life is full of little pleasures like paying $15 for what is essentially half a tea spoon of dust, pouring it on soil, misting it every day and being overjoyed when after two weeks you see little green dots in the soil!!
@victory_wreath My ex’s dad had him in his 60s - that felt a bit weird being an only child and having a 85+ years old dad when you’re in your early 20s, but 40 still feels an average age for kids. my grandma had my dad at 45 in the 1950s and it wasn’t that unusual (though he was her youngest)
@MamaDoctorJones food from the hospital cafeteria, and because of Covid we couldn’t get anything from outside either - we weren’t allowed to leave the room. Thank goodness a wonderful nurse got me a prepackaged sandwich from the nurse’s station! Felt like the beat sandwich I ever ate lol
@MamaDoctorJones I couldn’t eat and barely get a few sips of water - very closely monitored - for my 18-hour long labour. At first I wasn’t thinking about eating but by the end I definitely felt weak and like I didn’t have the energy to push. And by the time I gave birth it was too late to get
@amy_may according to mine, in the cupboard in the bathroom, between the spare tp rolls and... plastic animals? ("where are the animals" "they're in the car mommy" except for some reason the bathroom cupboad is the car)
@fizzyells idk if it has a name but if it does I have it bad too D: I have to sleep with ear plugs otherwise it's too distracting and anxiety inducing.
