It’s been quite a year!
Take a look at what the Merseyside BioBank community have been up to in 2020!
It was a pleasure editing this newsletter with the help of fellow colleagues and volunteers 🪴🔍
A bit of a before and after - 60 bags of rubbish collected by our Rangers and help from @NTCastleWard yesterday. Thank you to everyone who helps to @KeepNIBeautiful! @isupportlhlh
Instead of spending time actively conserving and enhancing the special habitats and wildlife in these places, Rangers have to waste their precious time cleaning up after these inconsiderate arseh*les! No doubt similar scenes all around UK. ENJOY THESE PLACES BUT #LeaveNoTrace 🌍
Our Rangers spent three hours this morning collecting rubbish from #BloodyBridge - some already collected by helpful neighbours 💙 These beauty spots don’t deserve this treatment. Please, please #LeaveNoTrace
Last of my Irish marine megafauna spam... is the Harbour Porpoise...I was lucky enough a few years back to be kayaking in this exact bay when they came for a nosey! A truly unforgettable experience in my favourite part of the world 🙌🏼 ☘️https://t.co/it2TMSbJmN
It’s great to see so many people really enthused about these magnificent creatures roaming our Irish waters! So hopefully this is a reminder to all that we must do what we can to clean up our coasts and protect our marine life! 🌊☘️
@cappercoaching@Farmer_Tom_UK@McDonaldsUK Unfortunately a lot of people don’t take responsibility for their rubbish and don’t care/think about where it goes next. Education is key to combat this ignorance! But this might be a nifty wee scheme to highlight the issue 👀 🤷🏼♀️
