Here to voice my concerns because I had no other choice

Semester started by January 20-24 instead of January 1-5. Had one month of classes. Pandemic declared. Left university on March 17. Lockdown declared. Online classes. Dissertation. Assignments. Bad Internet Access. Now finals online?

My academic work should not feel like a burden! I enjoy doing it. Learning is why I am here. Burdening us with work will not make learning anymore easier!

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL we have to figure out a way to make sure everyone is able to get their degrees with whatever facilities they have. A singular solution without considering the diversity of the student community cannot work!

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL I couldn't go back because of borders closing. I don't have all the time to do only university work. I have to take care of running a house by myself! My parents are not here to take care of eating, cleaning, making sure I'm okay!

@ErpulaSuresh @ugc_india

Please understand our concerns. They are real and not trivial. There are practical difficulties for us who want to do good work! We are not lazy. We are not trying to get out of usual work. These are trying times!

[Not At All Interested @harshal_deshp]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL
Why was the Students' Council's plea to consider the issues faced by students met with ignorance?? While other universities are extending their date of exam by a month, why does EFLU adminstration wants to stick to the usual academic schedule..(to be cond)

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL please take note

@EFLU_OFFICIAL take note.
We are not complaining about studying. It is not studying anymore with the timeline and the amount of work given the crisis time! Please understand

[Hiraeth @BigCringeEnergy]

The whole point of subsidised education is to make it accessible to all. Assuming that every student has steady internet AND a healthy mental state to meet deadlines and take online tests is borderline criminal. Our academia must do better.

[domeafavour @notreallyofthis]

EFLU admin disregards our concerns of accessibility, over-burdening and mental instability. If not now when will you look into our probelms?

When the world is not functioning at 100% how do you expect us students to perform at 100%??
We need some empathy, more time, less worry about attendence in these difficult times! Please understand

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh I really like academic work but in a time when resources for my work are short in the first place due lack of remote access to journals or library facility. How do you expect me to finish my dissertation within the given time frame!

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh the reason why we choose to do dissertations is because we wish to do serious academic work. Your given time frame is not enough if you want the students to produce quality dissertations. We need an extension!
#ExtendTheSemesterEfluAdmin

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

Assuming everyone has great access to internet and computer facility is quite presumptuous. We know that our options are limited. But you need to hear our concerns as well! @EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh @ugc_india

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh
How do I write 3 assignments for each course, attend online classes - do assignments for attendence,write final exams AND a dissertation in less than one month? Instructions unclear
#ExtendTheSemesterEfluAdmin

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

Adding to that,
No provision has been made to drop dissertation/reading course or any Final semester course if we wish to!
Please take note @EFLU_OFFICIAL

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh
How do I produce gradecards to drop a previous course when everything is at hostel since we left in a hurry? Moreover, the student login doesn't work for a lot of us!
Instructions unclear!

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

Moreover, why do I need a teacher's consent for dropping a previous course? I get to choose what subjects come on my final grade card right?

[aconcernedeflustudent @aconcernedeflu1]

Seriously, why are we suspicious of students about attending classes? One of the reasons I come to class is because I want to learn! This is NOT A VACATION FOR US.

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh in a time of global crisis why is my attendence the most important thing? please look at other universities and how they are dealing with this!
