EFLU administration decides to follow old schedule for classes and exams. Where is their concern for the student community's mental health and social conditions?

How do I deal with my deteriorating mental health while the exams are being announced?? How do I work while being stuck in a lockdown??

Whole world is fighting against pandemic, people are starving, but @EFLU_OFFICIAL is announcing of conducting semester end exams in online. No thinking about the students social background and basic facilities..

[Hiraeth @BigCringeEnergy]

The whole point of subsidised education is to make it accessible to all. Assuming that every student has steady internet AND a healthy mental state to meet deadlines and take online tests is borderline criminal. Our academia must do better.

[kw23 @krowwen23]

Shame on @EFLU_OFFICIAL for releasing a circular which completely destroys the idea of subsidized and free education. How are we supposed to give online exams during a worldwide pandemic? Why are we supposed to submit assignments on a weekly basis?

@EFLU_OFFICIAL @ErpulaSuresh Some of us are writing our dissertations by hand! How do you expect us to finish our dissertations while we are overworked and there's a health crisis that is affecting us?

In complete solidarity with the protesting English and Foreign Language University Students. Education cannot be a privilege, semester needs to be extended, exam be postponed.

[eflustudents’union @eflustudents]

Despite the Students' Council asking for extension of deadline and exams due to the pandemic and to extend the semester, admin has been adamant at holding the exams as per the schedule. There are many issues which the circular doesn't address. @EFLU_OFFICIAL @Eflu20

[Joel | ജോയൽ | जोएल @Joeltm3]

The students of EFLU are burdened with online exams when the nation is shut. It is also against the govt order of closing all academic activities.
