@emmecaffettino @rhaenysangel Maybe difference between a guy & girl competitor? Also emotional/mental makeup. My daughter was similar to Ilia, in that she didn't want a hug from me right after a bad dance~ it would make her lose composure. And heartache of a parent >for son< is real also. Great Dad & coach.

@PolinaEdmunds As an amateur observer, Laurence appears to be much less than extraordinary. She has nothing on the other skaters’ clean lines, grace and elegance. Olivia Smart, for instance, such an amazing skater in comparison. Guillaume carries this team, and it wasn’t his best skate by far.

Side note: only needed to get my birth certificate for a standard license. Oh horrors! I had to call the county where I was born and ask them to send me an official copy! Such an onerous task! ML easily acquired for RID

@ChristineDozie9 @aj_inapi @Lisahudsonchow7 Just don’t put them ALL in the same basket. ie we have 8 World Class Athletes who serve in the army or air force representing the US at the Olympics this year, including a pairs figure skater, bobsled, biathlon, skeleton, Nordic combined. There are others repping proudly as well.

@marsha13634 @iAnonPatriot Because they do that. 😅 Summer 2010 we were walking through Beacon Hill and saw a wedding party heading up one of the streets. I remember thinking I wouldn’t want to navigate the cobblestones in the heels done if the gals were wearing! 😅
