A few things Trump admin is doing RIGHT and WRONG, in my opinion:
1) Economic Policy: RIGHT - focus on cutting taxes and cutting spending, rather than raising taxes to address deficits. WRONG - should be more focused on cutting taxes for low-to-middle income rather than wealthy.
2) Immigration: RIGHT - improving border security to reduce flow of illegal crossings. WRONG - seeking to deport productive members of American society and removing paths to citizenship.
3) Identity Politics: RIGHT - most people agree with Trump on trans sports participation. WRONG - belittling the most vulnerable members of our population, who deserve equal rights and love.
4) Wars: RIGHT - at least talking about wanting to end global wars and avoid future conflicts. WRONG - betraying our allies and rewarding malevolent bullies.
5) Trade: RIGHT - advancing dialogue on how to better support American jobs and wages through tweaks in trade policy. WRONG - slapping high indiscriminate tariffs on allies for no good reason, based on trade deals he negotiated.
Democrats shouldn't be afraid to agree with productive and popular policies and fight like hell against destructive and unpopular ones. Will require a reconfiguration of the party, which is necessary.

A fun lil' thread 🧵:
Hey @UHC. Completed a hysterectomy yesterday afternoon, discharged her home in the evening (saving @UHC and everyone some money). Discharge medications included 12 Vicodin. (retail cost $30). Vicodin DENIED pending prior authorization. Patient in pain all night. Way to go.
