The real victims of Murrell’s crimes are the ordinary Independence Supporters who gave their hard earned cash to the SNP with the express purpose of furthering the cause of independence. They will want to know how their donations could have been embezzled for so long without 1/6

Against the odds, ordinary Scots funded a national campaign and helped us reach homes across the country with a message of hope for independence.
Now we build the next stage.
We’re launching our new crowdfunder and membership drive to grow a permanent grassroots movement for Scotland’s future, powered by people, not political insiders.
If you believe Scotland deserves another voice in the independence movement, now is the time to get involved.

They have the establishment.
We have each other.
1 @JohnSwinney@ScotGovFM has Parliamentary support to seek a s30. If that is refused, he must unite the #Independence movement in a convention, use the power in the hands of 🏴’s people and declare a Scottish election which is a de facto referendum. Much has changed in 3 years.
You cannot secede from a state that does not exist! i.e. The legal identity of the U.K. is that of England in every constitutional aspect, Crown to government to Parliament to constitutional doctrine and practice. Scotland at least - and probably Ireland and Wales too - cannot secede from England nor from any invalid or inoperative (ToU) treaties. The route is restoration of a never lawfully transferred sovereignty and constitutional resumption.
Scotland, the "energy capital" of Europe.
Scotland, the most energy rich country in Europe.
Scotland, the highest levels of energy poverty in Europe.
Scotland cannot prosper in a union that is designed to exploit people, extract wealth & leave the poorest dependent on handouts.

🕛 Noon today.
How did "both votes SNP" a strategy born of loyalty did we end up with Reform UK getting 17 list seats?
A difficult conversation for anyone who wants independence. We look at the arithmetic.
Orwell might have called it the corruption of language dressed as rebellion.
Set a reminder. 👇

As @indyscotnews said: some in the SNP have become the antithesis of the inclusive 2014 Yes movement, hateful, entitled, attacking other pro-indy parties.
Trouncing? We're 3 months old, we only came into focus a few weeks before the election. The SNP got 1 list seat after a decade. Reform got 17.
Now the SNP needs the Greens for a 'pro-indy majority', the same Greens who took two SNP constituency seats.
That majority is a sham. Built on a party that cannibalises SNP seats and buries independence under a load of other priorities.
We're new. You're deflecting from a decade of failure
For the 3rd election running we warned that “Both Votes SNP” would waste regional votes and hand seats to unionist parties. That warning became reality.
Reform has entered Holyrood with 17 seats while pro-indy list representation collapsed again adding yet another unionist bloc into Scotland’s Parliament.
People will blame smaller pro-indy parties rather than confront the bigger picture: new parties rarely break through without wealthy backers, media machines, or establishment support.
Reform had all three. Grassroots indy parties did not.
We had volunteers, belief, and ordinary people giving everything they could. Activists trying to sound the alarm before it was too late because we could see exactly where this was heading.
This is heartbreaking because it was avoidable. And deep down, many within the SNP know it was avoidable too.
Ask yourself this: why are pro-independence votes for anyone outside the SNP always dismissed and only SNP votes count towards Scottish sovereignty?
A movement serious about independence should not sneer at other pro-indy votes as wasted, divided, or illegitimate. It should be trying to maximise all pro-independence representation not treating one party’s dominance as more important than the national cause itself.
Unless something changes now, the next term could see pro-independence representation diluted even further, with the movement trapped in permanent decline under a strategy that no longer works.
Scotland needs honesty. Scotland needs strategic change. And Scotland needs a movement willing to adapt before it is too late.

not an @theSNP majority, nor a majority of the popular vote:it’s tricky to determine the legal & political compulsitors requiring WM to consent & cooperate. That’s because they don’t exist. Only the ballot box & international cooperation persuade them. #IndependenceNothingLess
