Cities, when designed for people are a part of the answer to almost everything. I'm doing my part in Denver to create inclusive spaces that bring us together.
@DenverPerfect10 I am so sorry Chris. There is no excuse for this behavior. I’m just in shock that event organizers let this happen. This is just one more example why your historic candidacy is so important for this city.
@jlocantore Almost every bike in Crested Butte seems to have standard issued pvc pipe ski holder. This, in one of the coldest valleys in the country. Also, no one locks their bike.
Shared public places and places are the glue of our communities - this philosophy guides my work on the board of the @DenverParkTrust. Will you you help chip in by donating to my #ColoradoGivesDay campaign for the DPT to support our parks? https://t.co/5HnVDJJ295.

@jachtm @Json_Blevins @AllenCowgill I grew up out in the country, and often a tractor going 15mph in a 40mph road. No one freaked out, all understood that the tractor had a place to go. Bicyclists have the same right to use our shared public streets to get where they need to go too without risking door swings.
One thing I’m quick to call BS on is the notion that I’m just a “transit advocate.” Or a “bike advocate.” Or a “walking advocate.”
I’m an expert on how cities work, or don’t work.
When you actually, really know how cities work, you become a transit, biking and walking advocate.
Yes! Finally someone else agrees. Out with In-N-Out, in with Good Times. DP: Forget In-N-Out. Why isn’t Colorado talking about the greatness of Good Times? https://t.co/olZdNvKSUQ
There are as many people in these BRT buses as in the cars around. And even if all cars were zero emissions it wouldn't have had an impact on traffic congestion and its nuisances.

@flyin_obrien @DenverPerfect10 @ShannonLovesD10 He is in his 1st term, I’d say he’s just getting started. A driver hit him while biking putting him in a wheelchair (2x). I don’t know much about the Wash/Clark story but I would suggest giving him a call. I’ll call too. His number one issue is transforming our streets for people
@flyin_obrien @DenverPerfect10 @ShannonLovesD10 What a horrible story. I’m sorry and feel your pain. My wife has had two bad accidents on a bike and I’ve had that experience countless times in this city. I’m curious about your mention of CM Hinds. Are you aware of why he’s in a wheelchair and of his devotion to bike safety?
@AndrewIltis@RideRTD Just tried to take the train this morning to work. The ticker said train arriving in 3 minutes….then 15 minutes later the bells started ringing, but still no train. I went back home and worked from there. I’m grateful for that luxury, but the train has to be reliable.
