🌟 Today, the CARICOM Girls in ICT (CGICT) Partnership observes World Children’s Day 2025 with the launch of the HERizon: CARICOM Women Shaping STEAM Campaign.
🗒️This year’s theme, 'My Day, My Rights', is aligned with the Partnership’s position that:
🧒🏽Every child has the right to access, explore, and thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
👥By showcasing women in STEAM across the Region who are breaking barriers, redefining possibility, and inspiring the next generation, it is our hope that young girls will be encouraged to:
🔬 Ask big questions
💻 Build digital skills
🎨 Innovate with creativity
📐 Design solutions
📊 Use data to shape change
The campaign also marks the official lead-up to Girls in ICT Day 2026, commemorated on 23 April 2026, during which the CGICT Partnership will continue to champion digital inclusion, innovation, and youth empowerment across the Caribbean.
