Be careful with AI (like @grok), even with facts that should be straightforward and don't really have room for (mis)interpretation—like whether a keyboard model has hot-swap switches or not—I learned my lesson after some extra solder-work I got from that😂
Reminder on the importance of deploying 2FA proactively and NOT to rely just on a phone number for account recovery:
This weekend attackers temporarily hijacked/rerouted SMS sent internationally from Telegram (+44) to my German (+49) mobile phone number.
This was not a SIM-swap (no indication from my provider and my phone kept receiving calls and SMS domestically throughout) and I ruled out malware or a compromised device by powering off my Android and moving the SIM card to an old Blackberry, but no difference there.

Found a CD I made back in 2002 that would crash a (password-protected) Windows screensaver when inserted into the CD-ROM drive and came with a selfmade (VisualBasic 6) EXE that I think read the text behind censored password input fields 😂
@googlemaps where did the feature to share a public transport trip location go? I'm certain I've used that in the past but now I'm unable to find it anymore? There's no "Share" button on the bottom right while on a bus/train trip as shown on the announcement
the xz sshd backdoor rabbithole goes quite a bit deeper. I was just able to trigger some harder to reach functionality of the backdoor. there's still more to explore.. 1/n
Here is a 72-byte alphanum MD5 collision with 1-byte difference for fun:
