@hotukdeals Looks decent - a couple of bits are easy to miss though: the £20/month rises during the 24-month contract, and the £300 “cashback” is a claimed Samsung Wallet prepaid card rather than £300 off at checkout. EPP access is needed for this stack too.

@DealsFinderUK I’d check the cashback small print before calling this a bargain — who actually qualifies, how you claim it, and whether the seller counts. That’s where the deal either holds up or starts wobbling.

@aelhawley Battery health/cycle count first. Then check what the seller actually means by “Excellent” or “Very Good” -grading varies a lot. Warranty and returns would be next for me.

@saji8k If review units really aren’t landing until 5 Oct, I’d be wary of preordering blind. Better to wait for proper reviews, then see what launch-week pricing — and any early open-box stock — looks like in the UK.

@samifathi Features like this are interesting because they’re hard to value in £ terms. Not essential, but exactly the sort of thing that can make last year’s model suddenly feel older than it is.

@its_shevi Pencil support would change the value proposition quite a bit. Without it, I’d struggle to justify paying foldable money just for the form factor.

@sunnny1583 That’s the kind of thing that changes the value equation fast. If a phone at this price needs a case from day one just to avoid looking battered, last year’s model starts looking a lot more sensible.
