@drnickUSA Can he pay out of pocket? It’s not right but he should not have to suffer. I’ve had 3 knee sx & I couldn’t imagine not having pain meds after. Orthopedic surgery is one of the most painful. That is #insane.

@ThomasKlineMD I don’t think I’m far off base here but the increase of lawsuits against docs for “getting pts addicted” has made practitioners more fearful of prescribing & thus the contracts, pill counts & drug screens. An ongoing CYA for future claims.

It’s dependent upon the a multitude of factors including how ones body metabolizes it. Example- I tested + on it and I only took twice/day when needed. And I hate marijuana

Are they selling the CBD? That stuff is not cheap, doesn’t always work & can make a drug screen + 4thc-weed

@shoegalhms @ThomasKlineMD Depends on the test. Some can detect a few days, others longer. I believe the saliva tests are the hours to days one. Put them on the spot. ASK them exactly why you are having to do this. I’d like to see the responses.

@Russell14779118 @ThomasKlineMD Also w CBD oil being very legal in a lot of states, it’s bs. You can (I did) test positive for thc while using it after my PCP advised me to try it for nausea. Had to go to ER out of state & voila-here come the counselors & lectures etc...all that bs for a LEGAL product

@shoegalhms @ThomasKlineMD And they think we r too ignorant to know the difference between a drug screen & a therapeutic drug LEVEL test. Can’t do a therapeutic test in the office. It HAS to be sent in to a lab not done on a dipstick or saliva test.
