@larrancitaber@Atlus_West@megaten_atlus@Atlus_jp@SEGA I get that you're probably trying to have the official ATLUS account publicly condemn the post but let's be real, the social media manager definitely did not get any greenlight from them to post that.
@WeskerIsRight It was only a matter of time until "pedo" because weaponised and diluted in the same way "nazi" and "incel" has. They don't like sexualisation and so they've resorted to demonising it by using the most heinous accusation possible.
@CameronCorduroy Last time I checked the real allegations involved the US. Anything to distract from that and the progressive endorsed grooming movements.
@BabyGarlicJr@struggledkiller@_witchpls@dannilo77579108 Oh wow, a nothingburger false equivalency article from the BBC, meanwhile the UK is not only "turning a blind eye" but actively covering for grooming gangs and giving convicted pedophiles light sentencing. Western saviour complex and orientalism strikes again.
@PMWoodman@MAGVinfoget@MantaVT Telling how you immediately weaponised the accusation. It's funny how you didn't read your cherry-picked source since it doesn't support your stance, I actually agree with it. Not to mention that POCD is often present in those vocal about equating fiction to real abuse.
@TheKingMaz@TolosGaming@ConstanzaRelepy@Yukionyaaaa@NorthVoxVT That's a false equivalency, one assaulted a real person, the other made a morally offensive drawing. You can condemn both without equating them, moral offense is not equivalent to real abuse.
@Shark_Dude @I_Find_Antis They're saying the quiet part out loud. "I don't care about your abuse because it doesn't affect me, what's more important is that I find these drawings to be offensive to my morals and I will weaponize accusations of real abuse to feel personally vindicated."
@RealGamingInc1@CommieSlayer8@NorthVoxVT People have a right to find it immoral and repulsive. The issue is using moral offense to justify equating it to real abuse when there is no victim, abuse, or depiction of real abuse involved. Doing so trivializes its severity whilst diminishing the weight of the accusation.
@RealGamingInc1@CommieSlayer8@NorthVoxVT Case in point, putting your earlier reply into an AI detector comes back as entirely AI generated, whereas my replies come back as human.
@RealGamingInc1@CommieSlayer8@NorthVoxVT You're using an argument from verbosity as a hyperbole, which once again demonstrates your lack of reading comprehension. Also, the "normalisation" claim takes a personal issue with a fictional depiction to make an unfounded claim about mass psychology to push moral panic.
