The government want to pass a law that could potentially allow companies uncapped political donations - so why haven't you heard about it?

🇺🇸 🇵🇸 Sama Safi, a 20-year-old American citizen and honors psychology student at Birzeit University, remains in Israeli detention after soldiers seized her from her family’s home near Ramallah at 3 a.m. on June 2, with lawmakers warning her life is at risk.
Safi, whose family lives in Florida, was taken without charge and transferred to Ofer prison, then to the Moscovia interrogation center in Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society. Her family says she has a chronic condition that causes fevers up to 105°F and requires daily medication and a quarterly injection she travels abroad to receive.
She was one of five Palestinian women detained that week, including two members of the Palestinian women’s national football team. The Israeli military said the women were suspected of “promoting terrorist activities.”
Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Sen. Chris Van Hollen have both demanded her release. “I am really sick and tired of the Israeli government taking American taxpayer dollars and then mistreating Americans,” Van Hollen said. Israel has not told her family or the U.S. embassy where she is being held. Rep. Tlaib said, “Her life is at risk—our government must free her now!”
The entire White House was in on the Epstein coverup.
DOJ. FBI. The VP.
They were meeting in the Situation Room ffs.
This is INSANE.

As @TrevorPTweets scuttles off to take his place at the right hand of disgraced propagandist @bariweiss at CBS, let's recall his enduring contribution to anti-racist discourse in the UK.
A Palestine Action activist gave a defiant cry after being sentenced to six years in prison for criminal damage with a “terrorist connection”, after smashing up an Israeli weapons factory.
Following her sentencing, Charlotte Head, 29, shouted, “In order to hear the birds, the warplanes must be silent”, referencing Palestinian poet Marwan Makhoul.
Supporters of the activists erupted into applause as Head and her fellow activists were ushered out of the Woolwich Crown Court.
Head, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona (Ellie) Kamio, 30, and Fatema Rajwani, 21, were found guilty of criminal damage in May after breaking into a factory in Filton, near Bristol, owned by Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit in 2024. Corner was also convicted of grievous bodily harm without intent. They were sentenced on Friday.
Head was handed a custodial sentence of six years less 45 days and disqualified from driving for four years. Kamio was sentenced to six years less 45 days. Rajwani was sentenced to five years and eight months less 45 days. Corner was sentenced to a combined eight years and eight months for both offences.
At Woolwich Crown Court on Friday Justice Jeremy Johnson said there was an “exceptionally high degree of planning and premeditation” in the case, telling the activists: “You sought to glorify criminality and vigilantism” by livestreaming and filming the raid. The harms caused were “exceptionally high” he said.
The judge found that there was a terrorist connection as the raid was aimed at “shutting down Elbit and ending what they regarded as British complicity in Israeli war crimes” and to “intimidate it into ceasing operations or cause the government to prevent it from operating”.
Throughout the trial the activists had tried to argue that they were motivated by a humanitarian desire to disrupt Israeli military operations. Justice Johnson found the activists’ motivation to be an aggravating factor.
Trita Parsi @tparsi, Executive Vice President of Quincy Institute, is reportedly being investigated by the U.S. Administration and may be in danger of being deported. I can only hope that is a scare tactic, or just fake news, bc not only would such an attempt to silence a critic of America's foolish war in Iran be unconstitutional, it would be incredibly foolish.
Trita has been on our show many times, and has ALWAYS been a voice of reason, of intelligence, and perhaps most of all: pro-America. He is a genuine America-firster and all of his advice and critique has been centered on trying to convince the government to avoid policies that are harmful to us and to pursue policies from which we can benefit.
We need more men like Trita Parsi in the national dialogue.
BREAKING: Justice Jeremy Johnson has ruled that the Filton 4 will be sentenced as terrorists – even though two juries refused to convict them of violence charges over their efforts to disable an Israeli factory in the UK making killer drones for use in Gaza. They were found guilty of a minor charge of criminal damage.
Judge Johnson kept the jury in the dark of his plans to sentence the four as terrorists. This is the first time in British legal history that anyone has been sentenced as a terrorist for damaging property. It's a very dark moment in an increasingly authoritarian Britain.
Thousands of legal professionals complained about Johnson's clear abuses of legal procedures to help the government's case for proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
Johnson has now proved this was always a show trial.
I explain how he rigged the two trials here: https://t.co/fXTkUAmIvh
When Obama bombed Libya, the justification was "humanitarian intervention." "Protection of civilians." "Responsibility to protect." The language of international law and moral obligation.
Libya was subsequently destroyed. It has open slave markets today. The humanitarian outcome was catastrophic.
But the language was immaculate. The syntax was perfect. The suits were pressed and the speeches were moving and the Nobel Peace Prize sat on the shelf while the drones flew.
Trump bombs things and says it's about the oil.
In terms of honesty, pure, raw, unmediated honesty about what American power actually does, Trump is more accurate than any of his predecessors.
This is not a defense of Trump.
This is an indictment of everyone who made the polished version seem acceptable.
The lie was always more dangerous than the liar currently in office.
Because the lie had good manners.
Part of the reason Israel is so hated is the gaslighting.
It's one thing to carry out 2 genocides, 1 apartheid & forever wars of aggression.
It's another to do this while saying you are the most moral country in the world.
the gaslighting drives normal people absolutely mad.
Zeteo reports that ousted 60 Minutes correspondent Cecilia Vega was in the middle of producing a high-profile segment on Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories and a prominent critic of Israel’s conduct in Gaza, when she was abruptly fired.
The report, by journalist Justin Baragona, offers new insight into the upheaval at CBS News following its acquisition by Israel supporter David Ellison and the installation of Bari Weiss as editor-in-chief.
New footage has emerged in the killing of seven-month-old Palestinian Sam Abu Haikal in the occupied West Bank.
The video appears to show the family's car slowing to a stop before an Israeli soldier opens fire.

Look at how Lindsey Graham laughs about Iran's infrastructure getting hit. Just yesterday U.S. hit and cut off the drinking water to 20,000 PEOPLE.
This is pathetic. ZERO value for HUMAN life.
