@larschigi @rickmcmichael I failed extra by a couple questions so just took it again the next day and passed. The online exams make this much easier, as they’re given multiple times a day. If you are getting 80% on practice, start taking it.

@HamRadioOutlet I edc the Baofeng mini or Kenwood D75 most of the time. The frequency sniffer on the Baofeng is fun. I used to carry the Icom 52a but the knob for volume and channels don’t turn fully independently anymore.

@harmlesshamCQ I was annoyed when I bought the ID-52 handheld and they came out with the usbc 52a shortly after. So wouldn’t be surprised if they just updated to usbc and called it 705a or something. I’d love one!
