What exactly do they mean by children asking their mom for permission to go out or do something wrong? That they are supposed to always seek that from their dads. Are mothers useless in the family unit? Their opinions do not matter, they are only allowed to birth and rear kids.

I've been married 30 years. When we got married, we agreed that as the husband, I would make all the big decisions and my wife would make all the small decisions.

It's worked out great! I'm just surprised there have never been any big decisions.
