Before heading to Kumi district to meet the leaders of the Teso sub-region, I commissioned the Zonal Presidential Skilling Hub in Arapai, Soroti City.

We started this free skills training to highlight our interest in free education for all. We have started at the zonal levels, and with more progress, we can expand to districts.

The ultimate aim of this project is to kickstart youth into the money economy. I am glad that Mrs. Jane Barekye and her group have started district saccos to support these young people in capitalizing on their ideas.
