@cbankston7@reformedlearner@Soteriology101 Confirms previous experience with many who claim to be reformed. Most have just not followed Calvinism to it's biblical/logical conclusion. Like many other gnostic teachings, it has initial convert teaching and the not spoken secrets saved for the committed. Many lack knowledge.
@Brian_Sauve Brother, you are right to fight against the institutions of evil, but to target the ethnicity and not ideology of those who do evil, is evil. Your followers will now hate ethnic groups, because you gave them permission. "not against flesh and blood... against spiritual powers."

@tompawnbadil The growing hatred for Jews is a huge blind spot for anyone claiming Christ as King. I don’t justify all of Israel’s actions, no more than I do the US’s. But all Iranian Christians I know, one of the first things they expressed after Christ, was a new love for the Jewish people.
@tompawnbadil I have appreciated some of your stuff in the past. As a pastor and someone who has worked with Iranians, both new Christians and others, for more that 25 years…. This saddens me. All the Iranians I know are in support of the attempt to weaken the Islamic-fascist regime.
@Protestia No that was a cheap gotcha. Evidence is the sheer number of responses of people that just read your “social media catch phrase” and did not even watch the video and then attacked. Do better. Or maybe that is the goal, to get responses and clicks by stirring up sin.
@Protestia This post seems to be a litmus of the state of the church. That so many people can gloss over a post (or not even watch), miss the obvious point, and go straight to condemning a brother is sad. Have we lost all brotherly love, grace and common sense at the same time?
A person will lie and pretend to protect the ruse that they are much happier in their sin. But they are actually miserable and self-loathing. The grift is everything to them, however. It has them so enslaved they are incapable of admitting the truth.

@HistoricLines@reformadad 39 is almost 40. That is what I stated. But thanks for the confirmation. 39 is young for a professor and pastor. Lots of growth room at 39. Bonhoeffer was not able to grow beyond that because he laid his life down for the sheepfold in Germany. So I will allow some grace.
@reformadad No human should be taken as perfect in their understanding. Bonhoeffer was killed in prison and his letters to his friend were meant as a way to wrestle with the depths of his coming death. They are raw and painful. My theology was not complete at 39. His life was taken early.
@reformadad Your quotes are severely taken out of context where he was arguing for something deeper. It is possible that some of his earlier stuff where he was wrestling more from an academic way as a young man had some issues. And also there is some of his letters from prison with issues.
@FranSzpylczyn@bonhoeffer2024@AngelStudiosInc The movie was not denounced by the family. They spoke about those potentially misusing the movie to condone political violence and extreme violent views. The producers and actors of the movie agreed with this concern.
@RevHansen1563 @jtdxn_ No sources? I really want to understand where this is stated. If you know this enough to make a public accusation, I assume you have read his books and know in context. We should not speak false accusations even against the formerly living. You are 100% he is in Hell for heresy?
@rustyrockets Hebrew understanding of knowledge was not “information of” but “intimate experience of”. They already had intimate experience of good in the active relationship with God in the garden. They were created in God’s image with free will, so the alternative was given to be free.
@smashbaals Stop making up stuff. Say you have not read his writings without saying it. Say you do not understand his German family culture without saying it. You are speaking lies against someone you do not know and have no proof. Slander is still a sin even if someone is dead.
@Seth_Troutt A worthy addition and clarification in an age when many in the church, especially young couples, are trying to do what is good in some areas (ie. get married and start a family), but have also been affected by a "porneo" sexual culture.
