Thankfully Toby made a full recovery, was awarded Sportsman of the Year at school, competes in county cricket, and has been selected for Saracens development rugby programme. He has survived and is a typical energetic teenager.
"In February 2018 Toby caught what we thought was a nasty winter cold...Within 48 hours Toby was in intensive care with sepsis." Toby's mum Helen.
Toby was 10 when he contracted sepsis and spent 5 days in intensive care.
Toby was extremely ill with #sepsis in February 2018 when he was 10 years old. Thankfully he made a full recovery, and is now a member of #saracens rugby development programme.
