Estamos verdaderamente hasta la coronilla de esta campaña de desprestigio. A estas alturas, habría que preguntarse quién está intentando desestabilizar a quién: ¿Marruecos a España o España a Marruecos? Se trata de una campaña feroz, como pocas veces se ha visto, que no ha cesado desde hace veinte días, en pleno mes de agosto.

Todo parece encajar con tal de demonizar a Marruecos. Hay una mujer que afirma que no la dejan estudiar -mientras su Instagram está lleno de fotografías en las que aparece viajando por el mundo- y su relato encaja perfectamente. Pues hagamos una portada con ella y acusemos a Marruecos de impedir que las niñas estudien. Se olvidan de que, desde hace años, las mujeres constituyen una parte muy importante, e incluso mayoritaria en determinados niveles y ámbitos, de los graduados universitarios en Marruecos.

Hay una ignorancia insultante sobre Marruecos. Es que muchos españoles no saben nada, absolutamente nada, de Marruecos. Seguro que todavía habrá quien piense que en Marruecos solo hay arena y camellos, como me comentaron muchos españoles cuando fui a España por primera vez en 1997.
