@anothercohen I know it’s too late but don’t trust HBOs offline mode. I had an 8 hour flight with no wifi and the downloads didn’t work once we were in the air. Never again!
(2/2) AWS is a garage full of all the best tools money can buy, available by the hour for cheap. A carpenter would build a beautiful, sturdy, unique dresser. Anyone else might saw their fingers off at any point. Oh, and there aren’t any safety manuals or PPE..
(1/2) I’ve run startup- and large-scale production workloads on both… Google is like an IKEA dresser. It works out of the box, everything is clearly labeled, there are clear instructions in one place, the tools are included, etc. However, everyone’s dresser looks the same.
I've repeatedly said that if I were going to start a company from scratch today and I didn't have a pile of experience with @awscloud, I'd be hard pressed to choose a cloud provider who wasn't @GoogleCloud.
