@Croppius@RoskupRoss@GarethSoloway This is the right take. Markets move on news, but the direction and magnitude of move is primed by the order flow, and order flow is massively influenced by the recent price action.
@fuckyouiquit One of the rules is to "choose wisely".
But what if I want to choose my time window unwisely?
I divide my 10 minutes into 600 one second breaks. And yes, I'm emailing you about using each one.
@MarshallApplew5@Satonacci@Tree_of_Alpha This. The true collective value of an asset type is based on a modeled estimate of infinite liquidity at the current price.
But that's not how markets work. This is true for all assets, from crypto, to stocks, to real estate, to gold bars, etc.
So yes, money is "lost".
@AmberNeysha I have proof. They are telling me that they aren't giving it back.
It's like they don't know how the blockchain works. Or they think their customers don't know.
@bit4rr@BitcoinMagazine The end of this isn't economic development. This actually moves the country in the opposite direction. But the CCPs goal isnt economic development its economic control. Now, you are at their mercy for relief from this hyperinflationary environment.
A brilliant dystopia.
@bit4rr@BitcoinMagazine Your statement isn't wrong, but you are making the naive misunderstanding of what causes circulation. Circulation isn't the cause of economic prosperity, its the effect of it. The time preference of sustainable systems is long. This forces time preference to be short. Disaster.
@bit4rr@BitcoinMagazine This has the effect of currency hyperinflation on the average citizen. Because now you are forced to bid with all of your yuan against all other participants or else truly scarce resources will go to them and you'll be left with nothing.
Prices surge.
@bit4rr@BitcoinMagazine When you cannot spend later, malinvestment dramatically increases.
Furthermore, something else must become the store of value.
Now instead of holding the currency, you trade it for something that CAN be spent later, like gold. Which means that the currency devalues.
@AlgodTrading This allows them to consistently predict which direction a trading range will break to. When you ask them, they will use the language of TA, but if you spend time with them, you will realize its more intuitive, which is simply a type of ensemble deep learning model in their brain
@AlgodTrading When you talk to a veteran "TA" trader who has been consistently profitable for decades, realize that TA is simply the language that allows them to communicate their ideas, but much of their decision making is subconscious and based on novel non-TA inputs that they gather.
