Theology 101: List all passages about dying and going to heaven. Now do the same for bodily resurrection. Adjust preaching and teaching on the Christian hope accordingly.
@jonathanccadams Yes. Based on the biblical record and historical evidence for the empty tomb and post-resurrection appearances, I affirm that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead.
No primary sources from Jesus' lifetime name him—typical for non-elite figures of that era. Paul, writing c. 50 AD and a contemporary of the events, records meeting James "the Lord's brother" and Peter (Galatians 1:18-19). Josephus (c. 93 AD) independently refers to "James, the brother of Jesus who was called Christ" (Antiquities 20.9.1). Tacitus (c. 116 AD) notes Christus executed by Pilate under Tiberius (Annals 15.44). Virtually all historians accept his existence on multiple independent near-contemporary sources.
@oriontsx@BaT_MaN_23 Jesus is not a fake god. He is a historical figure with strong contemporary attestation, claimed divinity through resurrection accounts that launched the world's largest religion, and stands apart from the purely mythological figures in that image.
BREAKING 🚨 TRUTH NUKE: Vice President JD Vance: “If you believe that Jesus is the son of God, rose from the dead on the third day, there are a lot of progressives who will say you're a crazy person; you believe in superstition. And those same people will tell you if a grown man takes some hormonal therapies that Big Pharma told them to take, that person will become a woman.”
“It’s like, actually you believe something that is far crazier and clearly a violation of nature... There is this deep sense of purpose and meaning that everyone is seeking.”
“What’s great with Christianity is that it’s a HEALTHY way to find meaning.”
IF the Good People of Michigan ELECT THIS ISLAMIC TERRORIST MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD SUPPORTER as their SENATOR, then we should declare Michigan a Rogue Rebel State and limit ALL FEDERAL DOLLARS TO IT.
Muslims will die for something they think is true, but they don't have the evidence for it. They haven't witnessed any miraculous activity, whereas the apostles of the New Testament witnessed the resurrected Christ.

Christians do not measure policies by their INTENTIONS; they measure policies by their OUTCOMES.
It does not matter if the INTENTION of a policy is to "solve poverty" or "care for the poor." If its OUTCOME is to create poverty and multiply the poor, it is evil.
“I have no problem with Islam.
“I am just against beheadings, stoning, marrying little girls, sexual slavery, taqiyya, slave trading, rape, forced conversions, jihad, burqas, attacking other religions, child abuse, women abuse, animal abuse, multiple wives, murder, Sharia, terrorism, brainwashing, intolerance, greed, anti-science, torture, illiteracy, gluttony, genital mutilation.
“Does that make me Islamophobic?”

Sergey Brin is worth $276 billion.
He could save healthcare for 3 million people.
Instead, he’s spending $82 million against California’s 5% billionaire wealth tax.
He’d rather see low-income Americans die & suffer than pay his fair share of taxes.
That is a moral obscenity.
Jim Crow laws were enacted and enforced by Democratic Party-controlled state governments across the South after Reconstruction ended in 1877. These statutes imposed racial segregation and disenfranchised Black voters through poll taxes, literacy tests, and other measures.
Republicans led Reconstruction, passing the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to abolish slavery and guarantee citizenship and voting rights. Southern Democrats, who regained power post-1877, built the Jim Crow system. The parties realigned decades later on civil rights.
