@ballfartmonkey2 it doesnt sound bad per say but its not something I would sit down and listen to either. Its very like middle of the road, its not great, its not terrible its safe mass produced hard pop. I dont know how to describe it but the song sounds like it was cooked up in a lab somewhere

For me, that was literally the best moment in the movie. It showed that the writers actually put some thought into the writing and the plot compared to No Way Home.

VMAX was never meant to be some big destructive machine. It was simply the last thing Jean Grey’s sister saw while she was being tortured in an empty room before she died. And she died thinking about Jean, trying to reach her sister one last time, so she unintentionally sent Jean the “VMAX” message telepathically.

And the fact that Jean eventually ends up being tortured in the exact same way her sister was, sitting in that same chair, makes the whole thing so much more heartbreaking when you actually think about it. Jean wasn’t just trying to understand a mysterious message. She was unknowingly reliving her sister’s final moments, and that’s what makes the scene hurt so much.

As a big time comics nerd, the entire movie I was going through my head “WTF is VMax what could it relate to in the comics” and realizing that both I and Jean in this moment were chasing something that didn’t exist just completely connected me to the movie. Great reveal

I don’t think Peter even had time to make that choice. The moment he realized the shot was heading toward Jean, his Spider-Man instincts kicked in. Peter’s first reaction has always been to protect the person in front of him not calculate whether he can survive it.

And that’s what makes it so Peter Parker. He knew Jean was vulnerable. He knew the bullet could kill her. His body moved before his brain could even process the consequences.

Was he willing to die for Jean? Absolutely. Was it because he was stupid? No. That’s simply who Peter is ❤️

This is honestly one of the most brutal things about Jean’s entire storyline. 😭

She spends the entire movie treating “V-Max” like it’s the key to finding her sister. She destroys facilities, interrogates people and keeps chasing this mystery because she genuinely believes she’s getting closer to Sara.

Only to eventually discover that V-Max wasn’t a location, a person or some secret weapon.

It was basically the last thing her sister saw before she died. 💔

Which means Jean spent all that time chasing a clue that was never actually capable of leading her to Sara.

And that makes her whole arc even sadder because she wasn’t just searching for information, she was desperately trying to find a way to believe her sister was still out there.

She was chasing “V-Max” because accepting what actually happened to Sara would mean accepting that she had already lost her.

The clue wasn't leading Jean to her sister.
It was leading Jean to the truth she desperately didn't want to hear. 💔
