@theemoneyplug I passed on a family heirloom to my wife. The ring was my great great grandmothers. It was gorgeous and unlike anything you could purchase new today. Plus it means way more as far as sentimental value. I did have to spend some money getting it repaired and sized.

@Military_Dollar Rhinegeist Brewery and the over-the-rhine neighbor are both very popular in Cincy. Findlay market is a popular farmers market in that neighborhood. Cincy also has a cool aquarium across the river called the Newport Aquarium if that's your thing.

@Military_Dollar In Cincy there is a dessert shop called Hello Honey, I would say that's my favorite in town. Also an hour north of Cincy is the National Air Force Museum in Dayton. That might be of interest with your military background.

@Military_Dollar When you're in Pittsburgh there is a French bakery called La Gourmandine. Definitely worth a visit they have some fantastic pastries. I could not tell you where to stay in Pittsburgh, I haven't had any luck with the places I stayed.

@fimechanic The laptop pocket being in the center is not ideal. I'd prefer it against the back. It is not an issue if the bag is lightly packed. When heavily packed I end up carrying it separately or putting it against the back of the bag in a laptop sleeve.

@Military_Dollar Also REI has a tent called the grand hut and tent called the kingdom both look very spacious. For the best protection for the dog, I wonder if you could buy a tent footprint (tarp) and put it on the inside of the tent to protect the floor. Or even just a blanket on the floor.
