After the 'fake' Justice Ugo resignation episode, I've been worried, having learned that such an occurrence — if true, could be used as a basis for delaying the tribunal processes till 180 days elapses. Thereby, making the LP/PDP/APM cases to become statute-barred! This means the end of the cases!

Nigerians, obidiens, this is serious!

If this is true, then, all the lawmakers that made our electoral laws & left such a sinister lacuna, should be dealt with.

If our laws did not anticipate & provide for a possible resignation, permanent incapacitation or as morbid as it may sound, the death of a judge during the time-sensitive Elections Petition Tribunals, then, let it be known that Nigerians CANNOT & WILL NOT be the victims of such a crude, inefficient & compromised law — if anything happens.

Because, let's face it, resignation is not the worst that can happen to the judges, especially, knowing the mood of the nation & the evil capacities of the parties involved in these election matters.

No be for my mouth una go hear am, but the judges must be protected at all costs.

However, I think we should all IMMEDIATELY begin to shout about this and let them know that any such scenario they might be simulating, will not be allowed to truncate our cases. We will not tolerate such.

I am also starting to think that the Judge Ugo story was true, but after the uproar that came with the leak or SOS, they died the matter & retracted.

To be forewarned, is to be forearmed.
