@barbedquill I’m not going through live replays just to prove a point. Get yourself to a premiership game and see for yourself. At sale they even have a boxing ‘ding ding’ play when it happens
@BLAIMGame So I’ll try and give a genuine answer. Any tax due will always be ‘immediate’ it’s not for hmrc to decide a time to repay. Anyone can apply for a repayment plan if they want to and both your mother and Angela are entitled to one if they need it.
@AlanJLSmith I looked at a public sector job recently, the pay was more than my current (private sector) AND the pension was the equivalent of me putting something like £1,600 a month into my stakeholder pension. The maths are bonkers.
@LewisStanding1@AlanJLSmith I think your argument was true 40 years ago. Public sector pay is now comparable to private AND they get the pension. It’s too generous
@sophielouisecc I agree, but I think you’re looking at the problem the wrong way round. We have a situation where pensioners are earning more than the working generation. It’s an issue with pensioner wealth not unemployment.
@antepostbet@JeremyClarkson@kelvmackenzie Because of this labour government? What are you on about? You’re delusional if you think tax changes would be any different under any other regime. Real issue is pensioner wealth growth
