By age 70, 40% of men have mosaic loss of Y chromosome (mLOY); about 20% exhibit Y loss in at least 10% of their blood cells.
mLOY carries a significant risk for cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, and autoimmunity. But we don't measure it!

Among patients with HIV-1 suppression while receiving bictegravir–emtricitabine–tenofovir alafenamide (B/F/TAF), switching to weekly islatravir–lenacapavir was noninferior to continuing daily B/F/TAF in maintaining suppression. Full phase 3 ISLEND-1 trial results: https://t.co/Sb7oArtumt
COVID "vaccine" trials excluded pregnant women.
Then CDC, FDA, and the media told pregnant women to get the shots anyway.
That was not informed consent. It was a policy overreach that killed.

The cuffless BP race just got real.
U.S. 2025 guidelines say cuffless devices should not yet guide hypertension diagnosis or treatment [1]. In Jan 2026, FDA issued draft testing guidance for cuffless BP devices [2]. 📈
AHA says motion, posture, skin tone and calibration can skew readings even as wearables promise continuous data during sleep and daily life [3]. ⚠️
For medtech leaders, the moat is shifting from sensor novelty to validated accuracy, workflow and trust.
🤔 What evidence would make cuffless BP data actionable in routine care?

✓ This indicates a "strawberry cervix" (punctate cervical hemorrhages), a classic diagnostic hallmark most commonly associated with Trichomoniasis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis.
• Primary differentials for foul-smelling white discharge following a new partner include Bacterial Vaginosis and bacterial cervicitis like Chlamydia.
Among older adults in the US, use of prescription medications and dietary supplements remained common between 2015-2016 and 2021-2023, while polypharmacy involving both categories increased.
More than 1 in 5 older adults in 2021-2023 were potentially at risk of a major drug-drug interaction, a finding relevant to medication safety, deprescribing, and adverse drug event prevention.

He spent his life teaching surgeons how to repair the aorta.
Then, at 97, his own aorta began to tear.
On New Year’s Eve 2005, Michael DeBakey was alone in his Houston study when a tearing pain ripped through his chest and into his back. He knew instantly what it was: an acute aortic dissection — the catastrophic condition he had classified, studied, and taught others to treat for decades.
At 97, he first refused surgery. He understood the odds. But his condition worsened. On February 9, 2006, after an ethics-committee debate and with his family pressing forward, surgeons opened his chest. They replaced the damaged segment of his aorta with a Dacron graft — the same kind of synthetic vessel he had pioneered in the 1950s.
There was a quiet full-circle detail in that graft. DeBakey had learned to sew from his mother. When department-store nylon ran out, he bought Dacron instead and stitched the first experimental tubes on his wife’s sewing machine.
Decades later, that material helped save his own life.
The operation lasted about seven hours. He survived. After a long recovery he returned to work, lectured, and wrote. In April 2008 he received the Congressional Gold Medal. He died on July 11, 2008, at 99 — weeks short of his 100th birthday.
He studied the disease. He built the tools. He trained the surgeons. Then he became the patient. The man who gave other people more time was given a little more time himself — and spent it in the hands of the people he had taught. ❤️

It was retracted, the author was struck off for dishonesty, and studies of millions of kids since have found no link.
