It strikes me that one thing AI can already do better than us is successfully recreate the atmosphere of a dream, which very few human-made films or TV shows have ever come close to doing. Like our subconscious, the software assembles a finished product from pre-existing scraps.
Very hard to argue that this isn't a bigger problem than the unevidenced risk of in-person voter fraud. Government should revert to the previous system for the general election.

It is not that automation will destroy jobs as is commonly supposed but that a surplus of labour vs productive work will create niche systems of hierarchy and busywork to give everybody something to do
the idea that “bullshit jobs” are at the highest risk for automation is entirely backwards.
