A distinguished academic, accomplished technocrat and thoughtful political leader, Professor Yilwatda has brought to public service an uncommon blend of intellectual depth, strategic clarity and a deep sense of responsibility. His journey is a compelling testament to the value of knowledge placed at the service of leadership and nation-building.

Since assuming the leadership of our great party, he has demonstrated commendable steadiness, political maturity and a clear understanding of the imperative of building a stronger, more cohesive and forward-looking APC. At a consequential moment in our national political evolution, his stewardship is helping to give the party renewed purpose, strategic direction and institutional focus under the able guidance of our great leader, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. I am confident that the foundations being strengthened under his leadership will position the APC for greater cohesion and enduring success as we look towards 2027 and beyond.

Governor @ubasanius hosted the global leadership delegation of the @gatesfoundation to a gala event, led by the President of the Africa and India Office and Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. @ankurvora1 in Kaduna.

The meeting reviewed progress in primary healthcare, local research, and data systems. Mr. Vora commended Kaduna as the Foundation’s foremost subnational partner, citing the administration’s achievements in healthcare, education, agriculture, and human capital.

The Governor thanked the Foundation for choosing Kaduna as the first destination of its global leadership team’s visit to Nigeria and reaffirmed his commitment to deepening the partnership.
