Another stunner coming with us to @rosecitybookfair
“God gave Moses the rainbow sign, No more water, the fire next time!”
Pictured: A clean, sharp copy of the first edition of James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time in a crisp, bright dust jacket.
I am beyond honoredto have been entrusted with these handcrafted journals at Arches. In this array of blank books, Larry Yerkes has bound a tactile history of the major styles and techniques of bookbinding: Coptic, cased, link-stitched; marbled paper, goatskin, wood blocks ...
@M_Rothaus_Moser @markalanfranzen@jennfrey Indeed. They have been out of print for almost 10 years now. Ebay sales records are full of sets that have sold between 1500 - 2500.

@LStrannigan The Twilight Room has a massive outdoor patio, perfectly fine burgers, really good fries, and good fish & chips. There will definitely be smoking though.

To celebrate Independent Bookstore Day, we are excited to to announce ...

@pauljpastor@AdamKeiper@belzpoems Spent several more days with him and his books over the years (later on more poetry than anything). Most of all, he introduced me to my first true pastrami sandwich at Saul's Deli, for which I am eternally grateful! https://t.co/YVL7wSg4GN
@pauljpastor@AdamKeiper@belzpoems Louis was a delightful man, brilliant scholar, faithful churchman. His astounding collection of liturgical and early church material was the very first library I bought for Jon Stock when he began sending me out on my own to scout books.
@d_l_mayfield I felt the same apprehension when we got a letter from DHS qualifying my brother and his caretakers for 1A. I came around to accepting that it wouldn't get anyone their shot any faster for me to refuse it when I'm already in the building taking him to his appointment.
