One dirty little secret about medicine is that a lot of the barriers to practice (individual state licensure, board cert requirements, facility and insurance credentialing) have significant functions as regulatory hedges to keep competition out and wages high for US doctors.

Easy fix to the paternalism (in ON) - 50+ currently get ‘invited’ to OBSP but don’t need doctor requisition
Open up 40+ to self refer to OBSP if they desire screening.
