I spent 10 yrs in the industry (Unity) & 5 yrs in the classroom. I've built the curriculum. Now we need the competitive framework. We need portfolios and rubrics judged by modern studio realities, C#, C++, engine architecture, not decades-old textbook criteria.

High school game dev students get shoehorned into generic "digital media" or "esports" buckets. They are taught to be consumers, not software engineers. Let's fix that. I’m building a dedicated student organization: Future Game Developers of America (FGDA)

@DallasISDSupt - CTE students deserve better. I'm calling on you to investigate these EdTech failures immediately and work with stakeholders to find solutions. Our students' futures are on the line.

@dallasschools CTE program should be preparing students for successful trades careers. Instead, Education Technology leadership failures are blocking students from accessing critical programs they need post-graduation. These aren't glitches, they're systemic barriers.
