What about your sip portfolio ?

@vini546 In 2022, started with HDFC regular funds and realised the impact of commissions and moved completely into direct funds in March, 2025 (Nifty ~22.6k). Felt like best decision ever made and found this masterpiece of @heliosMF and others.
@SrijanthReddy Few weeks back, bought the same in Germany. Working very good and worth of money. Multiple settings to clean the floors, carpets, and sofa! Best part is very easy to clean the dust collector. Hope it helps!
@Invest_AndGrow Last 4 years of investing journey, decided not to invest in IT ever and never tilted to it.
Never imagined IT co. multiples available in mid teens. Considering the valuations cooled off significantly - invested 5% of Pf in ITBEES.
Time will tell me if i get it right or wrong!
Hell of a nightmare! To be successful, you have to unlearn the driving skills & habits from India and start from scratch.
Also, thanks to your luck and examiner mood. Successfully holding one 😎
Getting a driving license in Germany 🇩🇪 is not cheap or easy.
Total cost: ~€2,500–€4,000 (₹2.7L–₹4.4L approx)
- Theory classes
- Mandatory driving hours
-Strict final test
It’s designed for safety, not just certification.
Been living in abroad >5 years. Tbh, I miss my family a lot(1-2 months vacation every year in India). On top of that, I always feel like an outsider and can’t get rid of this thought.
On flip side: Peaceful life, healthy food, fitness, no peer pressure.
Hope, I’ll go back home.
For NRIs Only 🇮🇳
Be honest, what do you miss the most about India?
• Convenience?
• Lower cost of living?
• Being close to family?
• Support system for raising kids?
• Affordable healthcare?
• Food, festivals, and culture?
• Something else? (Would love detailed comments)
• Or do you miss nothing at all?
Curious to hear real experiences, not the usual diplomatic answers. 👇
My friend bought a brand new Creta worth ₹20 lakh
I said
"Friend, you could have bought an EV or a CNG car instead,
Less expense and more savings.
At first, he smiled
Then he gave an answer that actually made me think.
He said
"EV cars are not bad,
but I don’t like the tension of running out of charge in the middle of a trip
and then searching for a charger everywhere.
And with CNG cars,
half the time goes into waiting in long queues instead of enjoying the drive."
Then he twirled the car key in his hand and said
"I just wanted a car
where I can sit, start it, and leave without overthinking anything."
Honestly
after hearing him, even I went silent for a few seconds.
Now tell me
If you had ₹20 lakh,
would you buy an EV, CNG, or Petrol or Diesel car ?
I preferred both in MF portfolio- contributing significant portion.
One sounds like a T20 batter with SR >200 and the other is Test batsman with solid defence. Btw, I love watching both T20 and Test matches. Each has its own significance.
@heliosMF@PPFAS
Flexi-cap category. Different style.
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap looks like a pure value fund if you see holdings like TCS, HCL, Power Grid, ITC.
Helios Flexi cap looks more growth focused with stocks like Eternal, PhysicsWallah, Ather, Paytm.
Your choice?
@DealsDhamaka Anna, living in EU for sometime.
Need groceries? Chin up, pick up my bag and go for a walk with fresh air to a nearby store. No second thought!
All the time, I ask myself, will i ever do the same in India? Oh no, you already answered my question 😂
Absolutely shocking to hear this news! As a vivid watcher of CNBC news, always loved to hear opinion of market experts. Mr Bhaiya always has a contrarian view towards markets. Om shanti and more power to his family.
Some heartbreaking news !
Siddhartha Bhaiya has passed away. He was only 47 years old.
A contrarian investor & a mid/smallcap specialist - Bhaiya was courageous, did not mince words & certainly did not mind standing away from the crowd.
Prayers with the family. Om shanti 🙏
