I’m happy to share this because I don’t care what side of the aisle you sit on, this is a fact.
Speaker Mike Johnson this is for you.
Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 50 years on every salary I received. From my first part time job until I retired. I always had a job.
The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this.I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it.
The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too.
It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking.
They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.
Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!
Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.
Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.
99% of people won't forward this to their timelines…..will you?
Please, for the sake of our country, repost this.
It's WILD to me that the President of the United States is selling advance INSIDER INFORMATION for stock trades at $100,000 a pop.
This is literally PEAK corruption.
How is this NOT a bigger story?
.@JamesTalarico: Since taking office, Ken Paxton has become a multi-millionaire — all while most Texans’ pay has remained stagnant for decades. He now owns 15 homes, while most Texans can't afford one. He's taken bribes from wealthy donors, all while he blocks overtime pay for Texas workers and guts our healthcare. He was one of the Attorneys General who led the fight against the Affordable Care Act, which has led to premiums skyrocketing for Texans all over the state. He's taken these lavish vacations to Iceland, to England on the 4th of July… Most Texans can't afford to take a vacation.
Ken Paxton's corruption is costing us in the state of Texas. It's why the people closest to Ken Paxton know he's unfit for office. His own party impeached him in the Texas House. His own staff reported him to the FBI. His own defense attorney just endorsed me in this race. I'm kind of expecting his family dog to run away and head over to my house any day now.
In a time when we're all so divided, there is one thing that Texans — Democrats, Independents, and Republicans — can agree on: We can't afford Ken Paxton's corruption.
BREAKING: A chef EXPOSES Rand Paul for lying about Dr. Fauci and COVID vaccines by revealing that the MAGA senator was himself vaccinated — and guess how he knows?
These Republicans think that their voters are dumb as dirt...
"You were vaccinated. Multiple times. How do I know? Because I cooked an event you attended in early 2022," Chef Joe Gera alleged on X. "The venue’s policy was: if you wanted to attend unmasked, you had to be vaccinated (this didn’t stop until April that year at this venue)."
"You also had to RSVP well in advance and provide a negative COVID test before the event. So if you were there, you met those requirements. But by all means, keep bullshitting," he added.
Gera was responding to a post in which Paul wrote: "Remember: Anthony Fauci was all about 'following the science,' until it came to vaccines. He was all about forcing you into compliance, even though we all knew infection was the best protection."
If we "all knew" that infection was a better hedge against the coronavirus than the vaccines (it wasn't), then why did you get vaccinated, Rand?
It couldn't possibly be that you recognize the value and efficacy of the vaccines but are pandering to ignorant conspiracy theories for political gain, right? That would be deeply immoral, spineless even!
This is the same Rand Paul who said that he wants to prosecute Fauci for his imagined crimes and who exposed the doctor's personal diary to the entire world. This is political theater of the lowest sort, and this so-called senator should be ashamed of himself.
"I waited almost a day to do this because A, I’m busy, B have a stress fracture in my foot. But your continued bullshit about this is beyond insane," Chef Gera added in a follow-up post.
Please ❤️ and share to help expose Rand Paul!
BREAKING: Trump administration moves to TERMINATE Biden-era Medicare program that helped seniors afford medication.
Millions of seniors and disabled Americans are about to feel the pain of a decision made in a corporate boardroom, dressed up by the Trump regime as fiscal responsibility.
The Trump administration announced that it's ending a Biden-era Medicare Part D subsidy program that helped cap out-of-pocket prescription drug costs at $2,000 annually and allowed Medicare to negotiate lower prices on high-cost drugs. The subsidy expires at the end of this year, with no replacement offered for 2027. About 25 million Americans currently rely on standalone Part D plans to afford their medications.
CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz tried to spin this as good news, claiming premiums will rise by "less than $10 for most Medicare recipients," insisting "we are stabilizing the market so this bailout is no longer needed."
Let's be clear about who actually benefited from this soon-to-be-canceled program: not insurance companies padding their profits, but seniors and disabled Americans trying to afford insulin, heart medication, and cancer treatments without going broke.
The Biden-era reform was specifically designed to protect patients from catastrophic drug costs and give Medicare real negotiating power against Big Pharma. Ending it doesn't stabilize anything — it just shifts costs back onto the people who can least afford them.
And here's the kicker: CMS won't even release actual cost details until mid-to-late September, meaning millions of seniors are being told their financial safety net is disappearing without knowing what they'll actually owe when it does.
This is the same administration that's spent the year gutting food safety oversight, defunding vaccine research, and slashing public health infrastructure — all while insisting they're "protecting" Americans. Now they're coming for the prescription drug protections that keep seniors from needing to choose between medication and groceries.
Dr. Oz can call it "stabilizing the market" all he wants. For millions of Americans on fixed incomes, it's one more essential protection quietly stripped away, timed conveniently for after this year's headlines fade and before next year's bills arrive.
Please like and share if you think the federal government should be increasing medical subsidies for all Americans, not just seniors!
BREAKING: Hegseth MELTED DOWN and accused a senator of "Trump derangement syndrome" after being confronted with his own failed war claims in antagonistic Senate hearing.
Pete Hegseth walked into today's Senate Appropriations Committee hearing hoping to sail through a routine budget request.
Instead, he got cornered twice, and by the end, he was reduced to screaming about "Trump derangement syndrome" at a sitting United States senator.
Senator Jon Ossoff opened by honoring the sacrifices of American service members — expressing "immense gratitude and admiration" for Georgians who served, along with condolences for the four killed in action and hopes for recovery for the nearly 100 wounded over just the last two weeks. Two weeks. Not at the start of this war. Now.
Then Ossoff got to the numbers. Hegseth is requesting $67 billion in emergency supplemental funding to keep this war funded — a staggering sum for a conflict Trump promised would last "four to five weeks."
But Ossoff's sharpest moment came when he read Hegseth's own words back to him. On day 14 of this war, nearly five months ago, Hegseth publicly declared Iran's military had been "destroyed" and "made combat ineffective." Confronted with that claim today, Hegseth had no choice but to walk it back in real time, admitting Iran's military capabilities are merely at "the lowest level they've been in a very long time" — a far cry from "destroyed."
But it was Senator Gary Peters who really lit the fuse. Peters pointed out that Iran's missiles hitting recent targets are somehow MORE lethal and maneuverable than before, that the Strait of Hormuz — open before Trump's war — remains closed, driving up prices for everyone, and that American service members are still dying. "So what's different, Secretary Hegseth?" he asked.
Hegseth didn't answer. He attacked. He accused Peters of "smearing the sacrifice of the troops" and thundered, "Shame on you." When Peters asked plainly whether Iran's nuclear material is still there, Hegseth dodged into a speech about troop "intensity."
Then Peters delivered the line of the day: "You, sir, are the failure. Not the men and women who are on that front line... but if there's a lack of a winning strategy, their leaders have failed them. You don't have a strategy. When will you show leadership?"
Hegseth's response was pure deflection: "Why don't you show some leadership and stand up for your fellow Democrats who won't fund the troops... you have Trump derangement syndrome and can't actually commit to anything meaningful."
Peters wasn't having it: "You have over a trillion dollars. It's not a question of money. It's a question of leadership."
Chair Susan Collins had to gavel the hearing closed before Hegseth could dig himself any deeper.
Nearly five months into a war Trump promised would take five weeks. $67 billion requested. American troops still dying. And when confronted with hard questions, America's Secretary of Defense chose to scream insults rather than answer for his own failures.
Please like and share if you think Hegseth must be replaced as Defense Secretary immediately!

ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.
According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.
It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.
His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.
DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.
We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.
Everyone should be outraged.
BREAKING: HELL YEAH! A New Yorker hits ICE with a massive lawsuit after they sent intimidation agents to his house for sending them an upset email.
These thugs have completely lost their minds...
“I cherish our right to speak openly about issues of public concern,” said David Streever, the plaintiff. “I hope others will not be discouraged from peacefully expressing their views, even when those views are critical of the government.”
Streever — who it should be noted is a legal U.S. citizen — sent an email to ICE's former Acting Director Todd Lyons in the wake of the Alex Pretti and Renée Good murders. He called Lyons a "monstrous human being" and “America’s Reinhard Heydrich, the butcher,” a reference to one of the most infamous high-ranking Nazis in the SS.
“The way you are protecting the obvious execution in Minnesota, even as we see the videos, will lead to your downfall,” Streever wrote.
Months after he sent the email, DHS agents arrived at his home in Rochester. Streever was traveling in Europe, but the agents gave his wife a "warning notice" which absurdly stated that the completely benign, harmless email was being considered a "threat."
Never once in the process of loading up into their vehicle, driving out to Streever's residence, knocking on his door, and delivering their agency's terrifying message did the agents stop to consider the fact that this man was simply exercising his right to free speech under the Constitution.
Apparently, in Trump's America the First Amendment only extends to MAGA supporters.
Thankfully, Mr. Streever is no shrinking violet. His lawsuit reveals that DHS officials later tracked him down in New York City after he was back in the U.S. They repeatedly left him voicemails demanding that he sign their ludicrous notice.
His suit accuses the agency of retaliating against him for daring to criticize ICE's leadership in a blatant violation of his First Amendment rights.
“Americans have a clear right to criticize government officials,” stated JT Morris of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, which is representing Streever.
“When federal agents come to your door and ask you to stop engaging in political speech,” they are engaged in “an act of intimidation that the Constitution doesn’t tolerate," he added.
The suit also named DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin as a defendant.
Please ❤️ and share if you strongly support this lawsuit!
Studies now present a striking picture of what happens when private equity firms acquire hospitals and nursing homes: predictable increases in harm and deaths. One landmark study shows: patient deaths up about 11% after such acquisitions.
BREAKING: Pennsylvania HUMILIATES Trump by refusing to take part in his ludicrous and wasteful “Great American State Fair” with a scathing announcement.
Every single blue state needs to do this...
“Unfortunately, due to the high cost to taxpayers and not being able to secure PA businesses to sponsor the booth, Pennsylvania will not be a participant in the Great American State Fair,” stated a spokesperson for PA's Department of Community and Economic Development.
While the 16-day taxpayer-funded bonanza is ostensibly designed to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, it's painfully obvious that the entire affair is just another pathetic attempt to flatter Trump's ego. Freedom 250, the group organizing the event on behalf of the President, has insisted that it's "nonpartisan" with a "track record of collaboration."
But Trump himself has already let the cat out of the bag.
He launched the fair with one of his characteristically divisive speeches on the National Mall and plans on holding a full-blown MAGA rally on July 4th at the Lincoln Memorial before the fireworks show. If you think for a moment that that speech will be anything other than a semi-coherent rant torching Democrats and touting his imagined achievements, you haven't been paying attention. This man is pathologically incapable of uniting this country.
“This President routinely makes patriotism partisan and personal—and it shouldn’t be that way,” said Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro.
“It reflects this sad state of affairs that we find ourselves in — that the President has politicized this to a degree that businesses don’t want to participate,” he said.
Pennsylvania joins seven other Democratically-led states that will not be participating in this farce of an event. The others are Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington.
We commend these states for standing up to the White House. Americans can't afford groceries and Trump wants to burn through more of our tax dollars on yet another pointless, bloated tribute to his failed presidency. Enough is enough.
Please ❤️ and share to urge the other states to boycott!
I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.”
Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the DHS Inspector General just opened an audit into a $38 billion warehouse-to-detention scheme that Kristi Noem and her top adviser Corey Lewandowski rammed through.
ICE bought 11 vacant warehouses in a matter of months, paying 11 to 13 percent above market value.
The properties weren’t even zoned for detention. No working plumbing for thousands of detainees. But Noem and Lewandowski pressured ICE to open them by year’s end anyway.
The result? At least $1 billion already spent on nine facilities. Nearly 50 contractors paid $1.7 billion since Trump took office.
Companies with zero immigration detention experience suddenly winning massive federal contracts.
One firm that didn’t even exist until June 2024 got a $6 million DHS contract this January.
Noem is gone.
Lewandowski is gone.
But the bill is still landing on the taxpayer, and the IG investigation is just getting started.
Accountability cannot end when the perpetrators walk out the door.
Every contract needs scrutiny.
Every dollar needs to be traced.
Every official who steered money to inexperienced contractors needs to answer under oath.

Trump sued his own IRS.
Settled with his own government.
Secured a $1.8 billion slush fund to siphon toward his allies.
Blocked the IRS audits against himself and his family.
This is corruption in plain sight.
