As part of preparations for the installation and operationalization of mRNA manufacturing equipment, staff members participated in a specialized capacity-development programme conducted by @thermofisher. The training covered key areas, including an introduction to Radiance, pharmaceutical analytics capabilities, purification capabilities and the Genetic Sciences Division, strengthening the team’s technical understanding of the systems, processes and technologies that will support mRNA research and manufacturing. This initiative is helping to build a skilled, confident and ready workforce capable of supporting successful equipment installation, technology adoption and the advancement of local vaccine manufacturing.
