How to get your first 100 users after launching a SaaSπ
Start by getting your product in front of people who already discover software:
π Product Hunt β DR 91 | 4.2M traffic
β G2 β DR 91 | 2.3M
π Capterra β DR 91 | 1.9M
π AlternativeTo β DR 80 | 2M
π» SaaSHub β DR 80 | 395K
π₯ Indie Hackers β DR 81 | 755K
π§βπ» Peerlist β DR 77 | 453K
π Uneed β DR 75 | 141K
Then build organic acquisition:
β Competitor alternative pages
β Comparison pages
β Use-case landing pages
β Helpful blog content
β Free tools with real search demand
β Founder-led content on X
β Relevant community participation
Donβt wait for one channel to magically work.
Your first 100 users usually come from multiple small distribution channels working together.

Founders, whatβs harder right now?
Building the product
or
Getting people to actually discover it?
For me, distribution is usually the harder problem.
Curious what stage youβre at π

For me, the first pages that started turning rankings into conversions were the ones closest to buying intent, including comparison, alternative, and use-case pages, and tool pages.
They usually convert much better than broad informational content because the visitor is already looking for a solution.
Usually around 3β6 months before organic starts becoming consistent, depending on the niche and competition.
What helps most: proper competitor analysis, building useful pages around the product, targeting high-intent queries, and earning relevant mentions/backlinks.
That gradually builds authority and turns rankings into signups.

β Publish content beyond your own website
β Join relevant Reddit discussions

Big lesson:
AI visibility isnβt only about your website.
You need brand mentions across the wider web.

@malakhovdm Thatβs actually a good problem to have π
What did you automate distribution with?
Curious whether itβs mostly scheduling/content repurposing or if the agent is also handling replies and engagement.
@yesadok Thatβs interesting; growth and distribution are honestly the hardest parts for a lot of SaaS teams.

With Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, you can literally build a SaaS in a weekend.
The hard part?
Getting people to discover and try it.
If I launched a SaaS today, Iβd focus on distribution from day 1:
β Share the build on X
β Launch on Product Hunt + relevant directories
β Create comparison & use-case pages
β Build 1 useful free tool for SEO
β Join niche communities
β Reach out to potential users directly
β Collect feedback + testimonials early
β Double down on the channel that starts working
Building is faster than ever.
Distribution is still the moat.

Founders π
Whatβs the ONE skill, strategy, or thing that helped you get your first paying customer?
Was it:
β Cold outreach
β SEO
β X / social media
β Your network
β Product Hunt
β Communities
β Pure luck π
Share what actually worked for you π
It might help someone still looking for customer #1.

Donβt depend on one platform for traffic.
Google can change.
X can change.
Reddit can change.
AI search can change.
Build multiple discovery channels:
β SEO
β Bing
β AI search
β Communities
β Referral sites
β Directories
β Email
Diversification isnβt optional anymore.
Itβs risk management for growth.

Website owners: donβt ignore Bing π
This site has already generated:
β 73.4K impressions

If youβre doing SEO for Google, also:
β Set up Bing Webmaster Tools

Youβre creating the content anyway.
Make sure Bing can find it too. π
