⚠️ HDFC Swiggy Card cashback issue again!

Bought a laptop worth ~₹91K on Flipkart expecting 5% cashback 💳

But after statement generation, no cashback was credited ❌

Customer care says transaction got tagged with MCC 5262 (Marketplace) instead of electronics purchase.

This is the 3rd time I’m facing wrong MCC routing issues with HDFC.

⚠️ Wrong CIBIL HIT!

My SBI Personal Loan EMI was on auto-debit with sufficient balance.

After EMI revision, old lower EMI kept getting debited, causing wrong 29 DPD for Nov & Dec 2025.

My CIBIL dropped to 692 unfair.

Requesting SBI to correct this urgently.

Bank should have connected the customer to update the E-mandate amount.

Auto Debit goal is to get free from manually paying every month.

If someone has card details, intl payments can happen without OTP. Serious risk.

🚨 HDFC Swiggy Credit Card Issue (Important for ALL users)

If you use HDFC Swiggy Credit Card for Flipkart/Amazon, read this 👇

Did a genuine Flipkart purchase on 27 Mar (₹14,056) 💳

Called HDFC Bank official customer care, and they clearly said:

👉 This transaction is NOT eligible for 5% cashback

Reason given:
👉 MCC = 5262 (Marketplace)

But here’s the problem 👇
❓ How is a customer supposed to know the MCC code before making a transaction?

If cashback depends on hidden MCC tagging,

isn’t this misleading marketing?

This has happened to me multiple times now.

If this is widespread, it’s a serious concern.

Should this be raised to @RBI? 🤔
