My name is Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo and today I speak not with hatred but with a heart full of pain and faith

A few days ago Fulani herdsmen sent a threatening letter to me and to members of my church

The letter was written in both Hausa and English and its message was terrifying

They vowed to attack me and kill me soon just as they killed nine of my relatives

Copies of these threatening letters have already been handed over to the security operatives

Many people have asked me if I am afraid

My answer is no

I am not afraid because my life is in the hands of Almighty God

The Bible says in Psalm 118:6

The Lord is on my side I will not fear What can man do unto me

I know what it means to bury those I love

I know what it means to wipe the tears of children who watched their parents murdered

I know what it means to stand before grieving families whose only crime was refusing to deny Jesus Christ

Now they say I will be next

But I ask the world

What is my crime

Is my crime that I speak for widows who have no voice

Is my crime that I cry for orphaned children whose parents were murdered

Is my crime that I tell the stories of persecuted Christians in Nigeria so the world will not forget them

Is my crime that I preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and refuse to remain silent while innocent people are killed

If that is my crime then I will continue until my last breath

Jesus Himself warned us in John 15:20

If they persecuted Me they will also persecute you

I did not choose this path because it is safe

I chose it because truth must never bow before terror

They may threaten my life but they cannot silence the truth

They may kill the messenger but they cannot kill the message

Romans 8:35 says

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword

The answer is no

Nothing can separate us from His love

Today I ask the world not to look away

Remember the widows

Remember the orphans

Remember the innocent Christians who continue to suffer simply because of their faith

Stand with us in prayer

Stand with us in truth

Stand with us in demanding justice for every innocent life

And if one day my voice is silenced let the world remember that I never carried a weapon

My only weapon was the truth

My only mission was to defend the persecuted

My only desire was to let the world know that the blood of innocent people cries out before God

As Paul declared in 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight I have finished the race I have kept the faith

May God strengthen every persecuted believer

May He comfort every grieving family

And may the light of Christ shine even in the darkest valleys until justice and peace prevail

We Lost Him 💔😭

My heart is shattered beyond words

Our little brother, 13-year-old David Raymond, has gone home to be with the Lord after fighting for his life for 18 painful days

David was not a soldier
He was not a criminal
He was only a child whose only "offense" was being born into a Christian family in Plateau State

On that dark night in Kawel village, Bokkos LGA, terrorists stormed his home while the family slept

His father, Raymond Maichibi, stood between death and his son, hoping to save him with his own body, but he was shot and killed

His mother, Nanlop Raymond, hid inside the bedroom, praying for mercy, but the bullets found her too

David tried to escape, but an AK-47 bullet ripped through his back and stomach, leaving his intestines exposed

As doctors struggled day and night to save this innocent child, his parents were already lying in a mass grave alongside 20 other Christians murdered simply because of their faith

The family could not bring themselves to tell David that he was now an orphan

They hoped he would recover first

But today, that painful secret no longer matters

David has gone to join his father and mother in eternity

Before he died, his trembling voice still echoed from his hospital bed

"They came in the night... My father tried to protect me and they shot him... My mother was hiding when they shot her too... I ran and they shot me in the back..."

How many more children must die before the world listens

How many more Christian families must be erased before our tears are seen

The silence of the world has become another weapon against us

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." — Matthew 5:10

David's blood cries out from the ground

His story must not die with him

I plead with the Church around the world, do not stop praying for the persecuted Church in Nigeria

Remember us before the throne of God

Stand with us while there is still someone left to save

May the Lord comfort every grieving heart and may little David Raymond rest in the everlasting arms of Jesus until we meet again

We are still reveling in the Mother’s Day celebrations and I will take time to be reflecting on a paradox.
In our African communities, we celebrate the "Virtuous Woman" of Proverbs 31. We see her as a CEO, a real estate investor, and a tireless homemaker. But in our rush to emulate her *productivity*, we often overlook her *peace*.
For the modern mother—balancing a career in the diaspora or driving industry back home—the "Superwoman" narrative can feel less like a blessing and more like a "Sufferhead" trap.

How do we balance the "Hustle" with the "Hallelujah"? We sat down yesterday at church to ask some tough questions that move beyond platitudes into spiritual and operational truth, and these are my thoughts:

**1. Managing "Residual Energy"**
We give our "peak performance" to the boardroom and the nursery. By evening, our marriages often get the leftovers.
* **The Spiritual Check:** Marriage is the first ministry. If we don't intentionally "pour" back into our unions, we are building on a foundation of exhaustion. Grace is available, but wisdom requires a schedule.

**2. The ROI of "Invisible" Labor**
African mothers often carry a "Double Burden"—the career and the "Chief Operating Officer" role at home.
* **The Spiritual Check:** God sees the "hidden" work. Whether you are managing a budget or a kitchen, it is all stewardship. If you’ve paused a career to stabilize a home, you haven't "lost time"—you've invested in a legacy that outlives a paycheck.

**3. Retiring the "Sufferhead" Badge**
We’ve been taught that "suffering well" is a sign of a "strong woman." But is burnout a spiritual virtue?
* **The Spiritual Check:** Even Jesus withdrew to the mountain to rest. Admitting you are overwhelmed isn't a lack of faith; it’s an act of humility. We were never meant to be the "Vine"—we are just the branches.

**4. The "Double-Guilt" Tax**
The feeling of being a "part-time" mom at work and a "distracted" professional at home is a heavy weight.
* **The Spiritual Check:** Your calling and your children are not in competition; they are in conversation. God doesn't give a vision that destroys your household. When you walk in your purpose, you are modeling for your children what it looks like to be a light in the marketplace.

**5. Protecting the "Woman" in the Mother**
If we strip away "Wife," "Mom," and "Manager," who is left?
* **The Spiritual Check:** You are a daughter of the King before you are anyone’s mother. Motherhood is a high calling, but your identity is anchored in Christ alone. We must protect our "personhood"—our quiet time, our health, and our joy—so that we pour from a full cup, not a dry well.

**This Mother’s Day, let’s trade the "Superwoman" cape for a "Sustainable Grace" mindset.**
