@alteregoburna Madam Efunroye Tinubu (1810–1887): One of the most powerful and wealthy Yoruba businesswomen and nationalists of the 19th century. Archival sketches and early photographs of her from the 1800s show her wearing an early, smaller prototype of the gele, layered under a traditional.

Exploring Nigeria by Train 🇳🇬… Lagos to Ibadan
In today’s episode of exploring Nigeria, I travelled by train from Lagos State to Ibadan, Oyo State, as a Ghanaian, and honestly, the experience was smooth, simple, and comfortable!
For anyone wondering how the process works, especially foreigners, here’s what I learned from my experience.
A friend had to book my ticket for me because I didn’t have a Nigerian National Identification Number (NIN). She used her own details to make the booking through the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) website, and the one-way ticket cost ₦3,834
The journey took less than three hours, and I was impressed by how spacious and beautiful the train stations were.
One thing I also found interesting was learning that some people live in one state and work in another, using the train to commute.
Imagine being able to travel between states for work! 🚆
Nigeria continues to surprise me with every new experience. From road trips to waterways and now train travel, there’s so much to discover in this country.
Have you travelled by train in Nigeria before? How was your experience?

@Efyakimora@EiiScanty How far
This is the kind of discussion you and your oga should be talking about when it comes to Nigeria 🇳🇬. We are tired of the negativity picture you guys paint us.
@PeterObi You have been pressured into finally tweeting about what’s happening in your own corridor, something you appeared to have deliberately ignored, as though you were completely unaware of it. Nigerians deserve consistency and accountability, regardless of where an incident occurs.
@PeterObi@PeterObi you chose to ignore some very important points in your statement, including the location of the incident. Why was the location not clearly mentioned, particularly when it happened in your region? Abi na you sponsor them. Dumb ass.
@ruffydfire Roofai you need to grow up. You hear? Imagine asking for primary school certificate, thought you guys went this route during the last election period. What’s the outcome. Rest abeg
