It’s no longer news that the ministry under your watch seems to be struggling to get things right, Infact clueless at the moment.

One of the major attribute of a leader is DETAILED COMMUNICATION TO HIS PEOPLE, you have failed woefully in this aspect as you chose not to address this matter diplomatically.

We do not expect you to revive the power ministry within 4years, Nigerians are only asking for better services than you met it, but instead you took it upon yourself to drive us backwards and arrogantly didn’t see anything wrong in that.

You increased the tariff for the first time in the history of this country by 70% yet nothing tangible came out of your FINANCIAL IGR SKILL.

Now back to the RUMOUR some clueless people are spreading about you wanting to contest in Oyo State as Governor in 2027, I’d like you to debunk it as well, it has been a major stain to your personality, people are worried how you will ever nurse such ambition, please just let the public know it’s a prank.

Oyo State where you and I both belong too has never for once in 3years plus that you have been appointed as the minister for power enjoyed the benefits of your appointment.

The almighty UCH IBADAN, is currently on strike as death register increased because of lack of power supply, it’s all thanks to you.

Many industrialists will ever regret investing in this country at this time because you have made them terribly used disel than expected .

My final words to you, if you cannot solve this power situation kindly bow out of this office with integrity and stop this PECULIAR MESS.

My name is Zainab. I’m 27 years old. An SS.

That is, I live with sickle cell disease.
My parents are both AS.

Oh, they They knew.
They were told.
They still married.

They said God approved it. They said love would be enough. They said faith would cover the consequences.

I am the consequence.

I was diagnosed before I was two. My childhood memories are not playgrounds or cartoons,they are; hospitals, needles, and adults whispering when they thought I couldn’t hear.

In primary school, I missed classes so often that teachers stopped asking why. Some classmates thought I was pretending. Some thought I was cursed. I learned early how to smile while feeling different.

By secondary school, the pain episodes became more frequent. I would wake up excited for school and end the day on a hospital bed. I watched my mates grow normally while my life moved in pauses, school, hospital, recovery, repeat.

At 15, I lost my younger brother to sickle cell.
We were both SS.

That day changed me forever.

My parents broke down in front of me — crying, apologizing, saying “We followed faith. We didn’t think…”
But the damage had already been done.

Sometimes I forgive them.
Sometimes I resent them deeply.
Both feelings live in me.

In university, I tried to be normal. I joined sickle cell advocacy groups, volunteered with awareness organizations, spoke at events, encouraged parents to test their genotype. People call me strong. They call me a warrior.

What they don’t see is me crying alone at night after another silent pain episode.
They don’t see the fear that comes with planning a future in a body that doesn’t always cooperate.

And Relationships?
That’s another wound.

I’ve been loved… briefly.
The moment conversations turn serious about marriage, children, commitment….they leave. Some are honest. Some ghost me. Some promise forever and disappear quietly.

One man once said he would do anything for me. He talked about taking me abroad, better care, a life without fear. I believed him. For the first time, my heart rested.

Then one day, he stopped calling.

That heartbreak triggered one of the worst crises I’ve had as an adult. Not because of physical stress but because hope collapsed.

Now I’m older. The pain episodes come differently. Less dramatic, but more exhausting. My body recovers slower. My fears are heavier. I ask myself questions my parents never asked each other.

I am strong, yes.
But I am tired.

If you are AS and the person you love is AS, please love your unborn children enough to stop and think. Faith is not a license to ignore knowledge. I am a proof to that

I didn’t ask to be a lesson.
But if my life can prevent another child from being born into avoidable pain, then my voice matters.

That’s why I’m writing this to you. Because people listens to you and this story needs to be heard. I hope that your audience share this till it reaches those who are about to walk by faith and not by sight, Sickle Cell is real!.

I started software engineering thinking it was mostly about wiring APIs to a database and displaying results on a web page.

But over time, I’ve realized it’s much bigger: it’s about building systems that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.

One of my biggest growth points has been mindset. I used to overthink ideas and hold back. Now, whenever curiosity strikes, I dive into how to build it — and that small shift has opened up so many learning opportunities.

Leading my capstone team also pushed me outside my comfort zone. Beyond backend work, I had to dabble in product management, data analysis, cloud, even security concepts. Acting as the “link” between different parts of the team stretched me beyond pure coding.

And since they are designed to take over the indigenous breeds, & since their genetic strands will be modified every now and then, with time, farmers won't even have a choice on the matter. This is a subtle venture to take over the agriculture of Africa behind the mask of philanthropy.

Secondly, they are engineered to take over the land exclusively and kpai the indigenous breeds. They also contain herbicides and pesticides that will kill the insects and other small animals in the soil that play a big role in the eco system.

Thirdly, they are associated with many deadly health issues especially in relation to allergenicity and antibiotic resistance.

Someone with a questionable history like Bill Gates is not a person anyone in their right sense should be flexing with. Google his HPV vaccine wahala in India, his tetanus vaccine wahala in Kenya.
